I was looking at vBulletin earlier, i was thinking of swapping a SMF forum over. Is vBulletin hard to install then?

Its really easy. In fact my host NationalNet would do it, not sure if his would though.

It's really not. The installation is as simple as uploading the software, chmoding some files, possibly having your host adjust some php settings (possibly not even required), making a database/user, and then running the installer wherein you enter your database access credentials.

Converting from SMF might be a headache though, assuming you'll be transferring all posts/users.

Dude, it's so simple and quick I can do it for you for free, just hit me up. It should take no more than 15 minutes. :) The other thing is customization and skinning, but it's not that hard.

If you can't install vbulletin yourself, then you should not call yourself a webmaster.
