Porn Guardian?s IndustryGuardian Program Shuts Down Another Major Illegal Blog

Thought you guys might be interested in hearing about some of the work we are doing. We would love the entire industry to join our low-cost IndustryGuardian program:

February 18, 2011

IndustryGuardian, the community service program offered by anti-piracy company Porn Guardian, has struck again. IndustryGuardian is a public service that pro-actively seeks to thwart illegal file trading on behalf of the entire adult community.

This morning, a prolific piracy blogger awoke to find that his sophisticated file sharing blog had been completely dismantled by Porn Guardian?s IndustryGuardian program. Overnight, the blogger?s file sharing hosts agreed to permanently close his affiliate accounts and block access to all of his uploaded files in order to maintain their ?Safe Harbor? status under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Porn Guardian had been monitoring the blog?s activities for several months. 36 hours ago, the anti-piracy company took action as a part of its proactive anti-piracy stance.

Through its IndustryGuardian initiative, Porn Guardian has dismantled several similar blogs in recent weeks.

?Porn Guardian is seeking support from all content producers to be part of our IndustryGuardian program,? said Porn Guardian partner Peter Phinney. ?We?re offering an opportunity for the industry to come together and present a united anti-piracy front. The cost of participation is minimal, and the outcomes are dramatic.?

Participation in the IndustryGuardian program costs only $150 a year and ensures that all members are included in the pro-active raids provided by the company. Members also receive quarterly updates and vital anti-piracy information that will help them combat piracy on their own sites.

Porn Guardian is a Gold Sponsor of this year?s Phoenix Forum, and will be unveiling complete details of the program at the forum. ?The power we gain by working together to fight piracy is necessary if we want to have a chance of winning this war,? says partner Dominic Ford.

Porn Guardian is the leading anti-piracy service for the adult industry. It was chosen by the Free Speech Coalition to become part of its Anti Piracy program (APAP), and nominated for an XBIZ Award this year for ?Most Innovative Web Product.? It is the first anti-piracy system ever to be nominated for an XBIZ Award.

Porn Guardian clients receive 24/7 piracy protection, a state-of-the-art reporting interface, evidence gathering and automatic enrollment in the IndustryGuardian initiative.

For more information about PornGuardian's client services, or the IndustryProtect initiative, see our website.

Congrats, what was the blog url?

DominicFord 02-18-2011 04:26 PM

This system won't let me post URLs. Argh. It is "spicegalleries" under blogspot.

For the moment, users are greeted with:

Guys, I can't update for the moment, I'm at the office, but somebody reported that there's no links on a folder, that I recently uploaded, well, I logged in to my MegaUpload account, and it's been suspended, so that means that ALL the files are already gone, sorry for that, so I still don't know what to do, so please just remember that I CAN'T DO any re-uploads, so in the meantime if somebody want's to help, that'll be really good, just let me know, by sending a mail to [email protected] and if you know a different host or maybe want to help me, would be great, sorry guys, this time it's not my fault... Or maybe is the right time to close SpiceGaleries!!! Guys, you take the desition, a 'hater' posted something on the comments, and I want to say that I have a real work, an a amazing life, this blog is just for fun, just that, so guys, comment in here, and just understand that if you are in this place, is because you want to see hot guys, and don't judge the others please...

Roald 02-18-2011 04:31 PM

here you go http://spicegalleries.blogspot.com/

How is this dissmantled exactly since I still see a lot of content on it?

cordoba 02-18-2011 04:32 PM

Great stuff.

Does this relate to your 3D content?

One of the good things about 3D porn is that it's like starting all over again. We have a chance to clamp down right now on the pirated content before it gets out of control.

BTW, Dominic's affiliate program converts like crazy.

Abbie 02-18-2011 04:33 PM

blogspot is super easy to get blogs removed ... anytime we dmca them, they're down fast. Blogger / Blogspot is owned by google and they are quick with this kinda stuff.

Nope - you gotta be quick :winkwink: and since we are usually the first to know, we jump in and grab them :1orglaugh Most of the time they just kill them outright. They are not quick though.. they are BEHIND. Just got this a few minutes ago.

The blog is up, but all the content is down, and the owner has expressed doubt whether he will start again.

Eric, miss you at CPR. Was hoping to meet you in person.

We were invited but declined to attend due to conflicts of interest. I was at Xbiz LA though.. it was a good show. :thumbsup

DominicFord 02-18-2011 05:12 PM

cordoba -- No, this isn't related to my paysite. I have a separate company called PornGuardian.com that was chosen by the FSC to be their company of choice and offers the industry's best reporting. We also offer a watermarking service that allows our clients to see who is UPLOADING their content.

Ah too bad I didn't know you were at XBIZ. I would have invited you to our Cocktail hour.

If you'll be at the Phoenix Forum, let me know. We are a Gold Sponsor and would love to meet you.

Between 'industry-leading' and 'best reporting' you guys must have a ton of pirates out there gunning for you. Pretty soon you'll need to wear kevlar like yours truly :1orglaugh

RycEric 02-18-2011 05:22 PM

Seriously though. Keep up the good fight Dominic... can never NOT have enough tacticians fighting these crooks. :thumbsup

lol. :) I sometimes think that we keep our staff spread out over 6 countries just so a single bomb can't take us all out.

Keep up the great work too!
