Contests on your site?
 

I wanna throw contests all the time... most prizes will be membership extensions (an extra 5 days, a free month, etc) but I'll give out cash and DVDs once in a while...

Anyone else do this?

I'm guessing it'll boost retention and increase word-of-mouth traffic

Ithink they make the member feel involved.

We shoot custom content for some clients and get the girls to sign the panties and underwear.

But then contenst are always a good thing. Our Win a free trip to Prague is doing very nicely thank you.

Cant go wrong with prizes.... :thumbsup

I was thinking about buying something in bulk also, like perhaps the first 1000 members get a certain dvd or whatever.

you'll approach your members for sure.... make also t-hirts, mugs, caps with your site name and give them as prizes.... you'll have free publicity.
how do you plan the contests? hit me on icq (see sig) if you want some quality adult games, they have a top10 feature, so you can start contests very easy...

hey flashfreak... i haven't thrown any contests yet... it's just an idea i've been throwing around.
i was just planning on selecting random members each month and giving them prizes, but the idea of using to top 10 scores in a flash game is a great idea! i'll definetly hit you up about that when I'm ready to start throwing some contests.

we do competitions so people can come along and see our films being shot, sit in the directors chair, or free stuff etc...

you should try and get information out of them at the same time, it's a good way of building up a useful profile of your clients.
