AdEngage Shutting Down

I used to use them a whole lot, good money makers for me once upon a time.

Dear AdEngage Customer,

AdEngage will be shutting down on February 28, 2011

The management of AdEngage has determined to cease operations, effective as of February 28, 2011.

The AdEngage website and advertising services will no longer be available and AdEngage will not be initiating any new campaigns at this time. Campaigns already in progress will continue to their conclusion on February 28, 2011. Current users of the system will have access however to their statistics and reporting until April 30th, 2011.

Any outstanding publisher earnings above $20 will be processed on or around March 31, 2011 as a final payment. Balances remaining with existing advertisers will be refunded on or before March 31, 2011.

Thank you to our publishers and advertisers for all of your support over the years, it has been a pleasure doing business with you and we wish you the best.

The AdEngage Team

It does, it's funny I haven't used them for quite some time but I always hate to see networks that were once good to me go. They had a good thing going for a while.

CaptainHowdy 02-18-2011 10:52 AM

Where's my money, Kysersoze? Oh, wait... my mistake.

Hehehe, guess it's the other Kyser.

domainguy 02-18-2011 11:16 AM

I'm surprised no one is buying out their network and they're just shutting it down.

GTS Mark 02-18-2011 12:06 PM

Wow that sucks, they were around for quite a while as i remember?

If anyone is looking for a new place to sell their traffic, please give me a shout. We have a lot of hungry media buyers looking for exposure.

Yeah who knows what internal issues they may have, seems like a waste to just let it go without even selling.

Perhaps they decided it was cheaper to shut it down than to settle with someone over IP infringement... just a guess... I don't know these guys at all, but there are lots of suits going around the ad network world right now because someone holds a patent on a lot of the process.

domainguy 02-18-2011 03:12 PM

Or maybe their owner, Tech norati Media doesn't want the world to know how much porn they do, if they're looking for an IPO.

samo 02-18-2011 05:15 PM

I have been using them for years both to sell and buy ads and they always worked fine as far as sending me traffic and my payments. I really can't understand why they are closing down and not selling insted. They have 1000's of webmasters and 1000's of customers. I'm totally baffled by their decision. Can any shed some light on this?

GTS Mark 02-18-2011 05:25 PM

If adengage is reading this and is looking to sell. Pls contact me

SwirlsGirl 02-18-2011 05:43 PM

disturbing to hear, they have been around for sometime.

You mean the industry no longer has an influx of newbies willing to spend $600.00 bucks a week on 99% china traffic that is marketed as 80% USA google search engine traffic?

seeandsee 02-18-2011 05:58 PM

they did a tube spree at start with aff and then all burst? :)

kada 02-18-2011 05:59 PM

You know this is a good point. I made money with them as a publisher but when I tried to advertise through them the traffic was horrible.

HomerSimpson 02-18-2011 08:21 PM

When I ran ads on AdEngage all they were good for was sucking money out of my account with shit traffic. I was totally a traffic buying noob that got sucked in that trap :1orglaugh

Seems like it was an awesome network for scheming publishers though...

A new hope!

domainguy 06-16-2011 11:02 AM

They're back. They also may be letting some of the old publishers use their "old code" implementation - http://support.adengage.com Interesting.

They are ok but its quite troublesome recieving checks, I'd rather get paid online, its a lot less hassle.

Check my sig if you're looking for a better adult ad network.
