Katy Perry sounds like cat being strangled to death. Can music that's celebrated by this overblown bullshit awards show get any fucking worse? Eminem makes me want to stab myself in the face with a shovel. Someone please drag out the White Stripes or something.

I do have to admit. I was very suprised with the best new artist award going to a pretty unknown artist esmeralda spalding, an actual musician, when there were people like The Biebs and Drake in the same category.

You make a good point. it's not even so much the make up, but her bright cutesy appearance. her stylists should get a fucking raise. She's the one keeping the dicks up and the dollars moving...

I thought it was a pretty good show. But then again...I'm old enough to remember when the Grammys were a complete snooze fest. No rock music or rap or hip hop were allowed.

Then about 20 years ago the ratings got so bad that they reinvented the Grammys. That's how Eminem has so many Grammys while The Beatles, The Stones, etc. have none.

Anyway, compared to The Grammy shows that I grew up watching this was awesome. lol
