Question For the Golfers
 

So I haven't hit a golf ball in years, so this past week I took two hours of golf lessons and now I got the bug to play again. My current clubs are hella ghetto (about 10 years old, Spalding brand), so I want to get some new clubs and a bag.

Any suggestions on what brand of clubs to get? Should I get oversized clubs (cuz I'm bound to suck). Anyone prefer a certain bag? I want some quality clubs that I'll keep for awhile. Thanks in advance.

Start with the local golf shops - almost all of them will fit you to your clubs. Pretty important in my opinion.

Then try to find shops that sell copies of clubs. Depending on the copy, you can get a full set & bag for $250-$500 - and many will fit them for you as well.

Many of the copies you can hit next to the real club and can't tell the difference, even though their is one.

If you don't want that - Give amazon a try, tons of brand names with lots of reviews.

Personally I like Nike irons, Ping putter, TaylorMade woods.
