I won, but in a dramatic twist I gave my award back. I couldn't handle the thought of dickmans having an odd number of awards on his shelf.

I didn't win anything, but then again 3D Toon artists never get any love I SHOULD get an award dammit lol

Other people nominate your site/service.

I laugh at the awards... not because you're getting an award, that's cool and all - but because in our Industry it makes no difference. Best film artist, amateur site, program, anal taker, ect - makes no difference in this Industry. It doesn't mean you'll get the next bas ass job or contract, it doesn't mean your program/site will be around in a few weeks, more affiliates don't promote you because of it, and even those that have gotten awards have gone belly up and even screwed us all over...

Outside of an ego boost, what is the point of the award? At least in other Industries, like movies - an award means something, it shows how good you actually are, they get you more, bigger, better jobs, ect... it's actually worthy.

That's one perspective sure.. and I'll admit winning awards has never been a goal of ours, but it's a nice thumbs up for all the hard work that all of us here put into our program. It's quite a large operation we have going on these days and we never stop building...

I dont have any xbiz awards either. The only award i've ever gotten in my life is some gay little gokarting trophy :\

When it comes generally to awards no matter what industry,i cant think of any worth to win except oscar,grammy and emmy.
