Best adsense wordpress theme?

Which are there? Free, paid?

Looking for blog/review templates with a high ctr on the google ads.

I am starting to wonder if you even know what you are doing. Is this a serious question? Why would you need a theme to place adsense?

I dont, no need to wonder. Im used to running adult websites, now im trying to add some other ventures into the portfolio.

Why i would need such a theme?

Because i just bought a domain with 1.9 million monthly local searches and my first idea is to check what it would make with proper seo in combination with ppc.

If that doesnt work i will be going the affiliate route.

Hope that answers your question.

Actually if you search google for "adsense wordpress themese" or similar you'll get a load of themes that are designed for the highest adsense click ctr. In other words all the banner / text link placements are setup in the best spots.

For example my very first made for adsense blog wasn't making any money. After playing with different themes and finding one specifically meant "for adsense" the blog instantly started producing adsense clicks and revenue.

Just like anything there are exceptions to the rule. While the majority of people will get de-indexed as you described, there are those that know how to pull it off correctly

True. I guess when you go with the adnsens ready ones you get to see what those spots are and then moving forward with other themes you know where to place adsense. Like going with training wheels 1st, lol.

i would do split testing on a design you have made.

I did .... below the video CTR dropped 15% :Oh crap

As a rule of thumb, ads convert far better ABOVE the content than below ...

First trick is not use only adsense... Then any theme that isn't locked around a design will work. Like the twentyten theme has plenty of space below the main menu and footer, it's easy enough to slip in ads above/below/within posts... Just make your ad menus look like the site, and your set... and select different templates that have various sidebars, that way you can test the style and use the one that works the best.
