What are your disabilities?

Almost everyone has a disability of some sort. Whether it be bad eyes, hard of hearing, sleep apnea, dyslexia, etc.

What's up with you?

ColKurtz 01-18-2003 01:15 PM

gigantic penis syndrome

BJ 01-18-2003 01:16 PM

alcoholism

I drank my pin number for atm card out of my head 5 times in past two months.

Cheshire 01-18-2003 01:16 PM

Athsma and I have very bad hearing at certain tones ~ unfortunately those tones all fall within the speach range.

paralyzed from the waist down

freeadultcontent 01-18-2003 01:24 PM

Ok I will go.

Severe curvature of the spine from sitting all the time, causing crushing of the lower vetabre (spelling)

Paralyzed from mid stomach down.

Constand bladder and kidney infections.

Indwelling sub pubical cathetor (means hole in below my belly button).

Decubitus ulcers on occassion.

Insomina from chronic back pain, get around 3 hours sleep if I am lucky.

Hellish muscle spasms every few minutes.

Unknown anemia, my body just seems to eat iron and make it go bye bye, which leads to transfusions every year or so.

Umm well add in about 30 more and you will get the entire list. I am so used to so many of them they are easily forgotten.

Don't assume he wasn't. Personality can still fly when bodies are ailed ~ we only know eachother's personality here, and the 'Board' one at that.

Sure I love to publicly say I have a cathetor and cant feel my dick. Of course I was fucking serious. Some of ya all are a little jadded to say the least ya know.

And your right most people can not live like this. Hence they very high suicide/death rate. Not to mention people aint comfortable around you since it hurts them. Kinda odd, with blindness or other dissabilities its ok. But people in chairs seem to scare people, I think they relize it could happen to them, or they think of all the stupid shit they have done, where it could of been them.

Umm shall we say I helped pass the CA law. Plus ran one of the few cannibis clubs in the state, until the feds decided I was evil and brought be up on a 10 to life charge for conspiracy against the US government. (Had the case defeated before trial by the way).

Beastiepoo 01-18-2003 01:45 PM

My eyes are pretty bad, and I've got year 'round allergies which means that I rarely have a day when I'm not sniffling and blowing my nose.

Also I'm severely anally retentive when it comes to spelling and grammar.

Some might consider my girth to be a disability. I consider it an asset, as I get fancied a lot by the ladies. :thumbsup

lagwagon 01-18-2003 02:22 PM

smoking.... well not really a disability but its killing me.... ewe

Jakke PNG 01-18-2003 02:24 PM

I'm fat, stupid, ugly and gullible...and most of the time I'm unclean and smell reeal bad.

gothweb 01-18-2003 02:27 PM

Everything is a fucking disability these days. Once upon a time, we called them "traits" and didn't make a big deal about them. Being paralyzed is a disability. Being blind is a disability. Being dyslexic, or a bad reader, or having a short attention span-- personality traits. Pet peeve of mine.

I get migraines. I have a short attention span. I am wicked nearsighted. I get depressed easily (or used to). I'm not disabled, though.

quiet 01-18-2003 03:23 PM

i'm too sexy for my shirt, it's a serious problem :(

demented 01-18-2003 06:38 PM

I currently suffer from Opiate Addiction. I have for about a year and a half now. I am taking care of it though and have been free from 'illegal narcotics' for 6 months.:)

sweetcuties 01-18-2003 06:48 PM

Never happy, always want more... does that count??

Sarah_Jayne 01-18-2003 07:29 PM

Every day I thank the lord (or whoever) that I only have a bad back to complain about. Whenever I get aches and pains I look at hubby struggling to get through life and suddenly I feel a whole lot better. Perspective is such a powerful healer.

Marcus 01-18-2003 07:49 PM

I have horrible attention defecit disorder.
I can't concentrate on anything. I can't read a book and I can't follow long instructions. It's really been a hinderence in work. I wish I control it but I zone out.

I have bad anxiety too. Sometime I think about mistakes I've made and I get really nervous and start to shake.

Naked Doctor 01-18-2003 09:24 PM

I hear voices in my head at night sometimes...when the house is quiet and cooling down, and every crack of contracting wood sounds like a gunshot going off in my heart. Only a whisper (so low it's like imagination with volume set a little louder than usual), but that soon changes, and pretty soon - I swear to God - I'm grabbing my freakin' ears - and looking at my hands for blood.

I deal with my affliction though. A killing spree helps.

I think that's called selective listening

chodadog 01-18-2003 09:29 PM

And i was just about to say i suffered from Selective Hearing. Bah.

Nysus 01-18-2003 09:30 PM

I'm with quiet. Anxiety disorder, which leads to other things, which are no fun in themselves.

I also supposedly have an adrenaline problem - No, I'm not a psycho that will spazz out on everyone at the next convention I go to and see YOU at.... Not sure though.. Getting bloodwork done soon.. so I'll know for sure..

Cheers,
Matt

Nina 01-18-2003 09:31 PM

I have a lot of interaction with my members, especially through my live cam shows, icq and email, I've come to learn that there are quite a few who are disabled. I'm glad my site can give them a little happiness.

thatdykeliz 01-18-2003 09:59 PM

Rheumatoid arthritis., which I'm learning to deal with. Irritable bowel syndrome, which is really the bane of my existence. It's painful -- crippling abdominal cramps -- and limits my activties, what foods I can eat without pain, where I can go. When I'm in a flare-up, I can't really go anywhere. I'm trapped in the goddamn bathroom.

I also have a short leg (1/4 inch shorter than the other) and a pelvic bone that fused off-center, also a 1/4 inch off. Because of the pelvic bone malformation, I have slight scoliosis, and my spine is curved on two axis. Between the back problems and the RA, I'm starting to be a lot more disabled than I used to be. I'm thinking of getting a cane soon, for walking around at the store or on trips.

Rilose 01-18-2003 11:13 PM

i do graphics and am mildly color blind !

tha_timinator 01-18-2003 11:50 PM

well... uhm.... ... i am eh, pretty tired today, and enjoying a severe hangover... but eh... for the rest i'm feeling healthier than ever i must say...
no disabilities here. (*knocking off on wood*)
