That time in all of our lives has come yet again for me, it is time to upgrade. Bigger and better things. This is still a pretty new/young machine. All components still have original boxes with software.

if you sell it you might want to get a slightly larger desk .

Gl luck with the sale :thumbsup

ArsewithClass 02-10-2011 11:45 AM

What sort of price were you hoping for it... I know the i7 alone is $500 if not more brand new.
Ive got i5 on my laptop & she works nice. My pc really could do with upgrading considering shes 2 yrs old :(

Maybe a guide to what you would hope, then anyone can try to drop the price :) Good luck with the bump & sale :)

they don't show prices easily, I choose NJ store then after you add to cart they show you cost and whether its pickup only or can be delivered is variable from store to store

found through google shopping search at the store near by.

Have you not met ArseWithClass before? He is really, really pant shittingly stupid. Confusing CPUs is the least of his problems.

AzteK 02-10-2011 01:17 PM

A quick look on ebay, and you can get all the parts new here for under $2k total, including the screens. Although honestly, i'd not bother upgrading. Its still a decent rig.

HD Content 02-13-2011 01:47 PM

HOLY shit no way 3k my new PC has the i-7 980extreme 24GB G.Skill ram

2MuchMark 02-13-2011 02:07 PM

Hi Phasic,

Sell the entire rig as a whole - don't break it up. I checked the hardware you have and its phenomenal - good job! You clearly know what you were buying and what you were doing. The graphics card alone is a fantastic choice.

The value is not in the individual parts per se, but in your entire system, and in the time you put in researching the components. Most people don't understand the value in a high end graphics card, high output rock-steady power supply, proper cooling, a super-wide desktop, etc. Stick to selling your system based on the total package plus the added value of hand-selected components and you should have no problem selling it.
