personally i hope these guys get owned on the wasted cost issue in march. |
gideon rejoice.
:2 cents: |

a lawyer goes forward witha shoddy case with suspect evidence, and when they try and back out AFTER the damage is done, a judge bitch slaps them and forces them to take responsiblity for their actions isn't that what you keep arguing for whenever you guys go on your "theft" rants. shouldn't "your side" have the same liablity for abuse. |
Suing people by this method is the only way owners have of getting something back off the pirates. But it's not going to solve the problem and looks like it's getting harder and harder, so Gideon should rejoice.
It needs Government intervention with a law making advertisers at danger of being sued or the sites being disconnected to make advertising useless on the sites. A tightening of DMCA isn't going to work if the site only has a link to the download. |
Blow me, fucking leeches ......
. |
seriously who the fuck cares about what happens in Europe. (besides Damian)
Report the news when something like this happens in the US, then it would be news worthy. In Somalia pirates are legal do we care what happens there too? Last I checked Gideion the loser, you are in the US, right? so you might want to be concerned with the laws that govern your ass. |

Well, the content "shifting in a cloud" is hurting my finances for sure.

we actually have national privacy laws rather than the hodge podge you guys have to deal with and they have teeth so violating my privacy right with a badly formed JDS will get you a 10k per piece of information fine. btw this is a fundamental principle of law ruling, the validity of evidence, and the definition of "authorizing" which is relevent to US cases. The fundamental principles are the same. Quote:
you would be making way more money if you understood the economic change that is comming adapt or die mother fucker. |

If you actually knew what the fuck you were talking about then you would know that I was one of the first to "adapt". :1orglaugh Adapting to people stealing your car will not get the previous stolen cars back. Adapting to content theft will not "undownload" it from people's computer either. So I'd appreciate it if you'd adapt your crusty fucking lips around my cock so you could STFU for a change. :1orglaugh |

how does one profit legitimately off piracy traffic? sips?
|
You don't shit where you eat
I derive maybe 25% of my income from US buyers. So, even though I live in the US what happens word wide (at least in the western world) affects my income and those of our affiliates. My overview is less myopic and affected by my circumstances. |

you would not be bitching about the problem if you had adapted that the point the guys who put their shit on the tape cassettes and sold it to vcr owners were the ones that adapted. the guys who went crying to congress/everyone complaining that the vcr was the boston strangler were not adapting. the fact that your bitching proves your in the latter group not the former. |
Quote:
that the equivalent to the movie house that spent on advertising tv to get people to go their movies. sure they got a minor up tick because vcr owners could now go out and see a movie and not miss their favorite show. the real innovators put their shit on the tape cassette and SOLD it to the vcr owners |
Quote:
Trick to piracy traffic is to trade it out with better quality traffic, some will convert, some will trade out, overall you grow and get more sales. Trying to convert it directly takes one hell of a product/site - that truly stands out from the rest. |

I guess we are the real innovators then. You just explained exactly what our entire industry has been doing for 15 years. Other than we didn't use 15-30 year old technology to do it, we use the technology of today, to do the same thing but much larger. |
Quote:
complaining to everyone (the vcr is boston strangler) and expecting the government = do nothing = dead weight that deserves to fail upping your tv ad buys (more of the same) = treading water = no real solution = not innovative = not real solution putting your shit on tape cassette and selling to to them = embracing the technology = innovation = real solution = more money than all other areas combined Quote:
you don't get the " Put your shit on the casstte" equivalent for this technology, so your doing the "buy more ads" equivalent that competes against the new technology. your doing the middle of the road, bitch move solution which really doesn't solve the problem.. |
You're not in the adult industry Gidiot.......and your examples are only tokenly equitable to the industry.
