Is Captain America the Movie to Beat in 2011?
 

Captain America: The First Avenger is already dominating the summer blockbuster lineup.

Last Sunday, you know, during that whole big Super Bowl extravaganza, movie studios unleashed a wave of sneak peeks upon us. But among all of them?Pirates 4, Thor, Transformers 3?we think that Captain America had the most first-look goodness. Goodness that is generating a lot of buzz following the big game.

And now as we take a look at the first official poster, we wonder: With all this new excitement, do other movies stand a chance at topping this highly anticipated superhero flick?

just when i thought hollywood couldn't possibly get worse they start mass producing comic book adaptations, which kind of makes sense considering the black eyed pees just played the superbowl...

I thought that most Captain America fans are dead by now ...

Hmmm, the trailer is pretty awful and considering the best bits are normally in the trailer, that suggests to me this might be a big flop :(

Should be better than the original, at least Jeff Bridges can act. John Wayne couldn't.



Might even be the first 3D film, not cartoon, I really enjoy.

After watching 3, I don't know if I'll even do 4. 1 was fantastic, 2 was okay.

Man, the list of great multi-movies series' is so short.

If it will be in the same line of quality as Ironman, then it def will be a blockbuster

Looking forward for this one. I can't believe that are still making Pirates of the Caribbean, one of the worst movies in my opinion!

Faster, stronger and smarter than any man alive

Looks good, as almost as offensive as Independance Day

It's got to be better than the 1990 version (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103923/). As near as I can tell it's all set in WWII which makes me think the Avengers movie will start with him getting found/thawed.

Honestly, I'm more excited about Thor, though I will certainly see them both.
