All in one dual monitor?

Anyone ever see this before? I just saw this at Fry's Electronics and I have to admit I was tempted. It was $400, but each monitor was only seventeen inches.

What do you all think?

Kind of strange. What happens if one goes bad? I would just get two separate monitors and a mount.

you can buy mounts that will hold numerous monitors of your own choosing, if for whatever reason you needed a single base.

Would rather buy that then be restricted to two seventeen inch pieces of crap.

Good selection here:
