Watched the Middle Men movie in flight yesterday

offered on Air Canada. Was'nt a bad move it all, a bit of a slow start, but it was entertaining. If it was'nt for all the negative connotation associated with it, most people would enjoy it here. Funny to see all the people I know in bit parts:winkwink:

Oracle Porn 02-06-2011 08:03 AM

so who are the real people behind the characters?

nikki99 02-06-2011 09:14 AM

wanna watch it :)

it says based on real events, then I'm pretty sure I saw the usual disclaimer, that any similarity to actual persons etc etc ... so hard to say :1orglaugh

Right at the beginning right after the Oxymoron Entertainment logo it says

"Inspired by a true story"

in the credits it says

"While suggested by actual events, this motion picture in its entirety a work of fiction. All character names have been invented, all characters have been composited or invented, and all incidents have been fictionalized. "

Make what you will of that. I guess if we knew exactly what true event(s) inspired this we would be able to know who's behind all the "fictional" characters. Of course, true story and work of fiction is an oxy moron. lol

Mainstream people found it to be boring.

DaddyHalbucks 02-06-2011 02:17 PM

Yawn. Please get me one of those little pillows, will you?

harvey 02-06-2011 04:31 PM

for those looking to see it, you can download it from http://bitshare.com/files/0968mdwe/M....ORG.rmvb.html

yeah, I don't give a fuck, hope nobody pays a cent to that piece of shit known as Chris Mallick

andrej_NDC 02-06-2011 05:19 PM

I watched it today. I thought it had something to do with the billing industry, but that was mentioned like 3 times in the movie. It was just a cheap try on Pulp Fiction 2.

Chosen 02-06-2011 07:02 PM

I'm still too lazy to download it, internet sucks here...

webair 02-06-2011 07:07 PM

I will never see it.

To watch it / support it is ludicrous. He is a fucking thief and should be treated as such.

:disgust

Tippy 02-06-2011 07:09 PM

I'm watching it now, not bad at all but prob. only because I kinda dabble in the Industry. I don't think the average Joe would like it much to be honest.

They charge for those these days. :(

I was on a Jetblue flight a couple weeks ago and if I remember correctly, they wanted something like $6 per pillow or blanket.

Bastards. :321GFY

Paul&John 02-07-2011 01:06 AM

The best part was when they 'invented' the Credit Card billing software back in the 90s on Windows XP :) (at least they should hid the taskbar)

Now that's soooo fucked up.

Sly 02-07-2011 08:30 AM

I've been seeing it advertised nightly on TV for VOD. I refuse to watch it. Not that it looks good anyway.

PR_Glen 02-07-2011 08:43 AM

looks like a bag of contrived bullshit, and that's politics aside...

inspired by true events is a direct translation for completely made up from 1 or 2 sources and nothing has been backed up or confirmed at any point.

They really need to put a stop to that shit...

charge it on visa.. then chargeback, say it wasn't a pillow and blanket , it was a tea towel and a pin cushion

Riffhard 02-07-2011 09:50 AM

The soundtrack was good...

Paul Markham 02-07-2011 10:09 AM
