Do people still submit galleries?
 

I've been thinking about starting up a TGP. I've been feeling a bit nostalgic lately. Do people still submit galleries? Are there still enough submitters out there where a TGP can operate mostly on submitted galleries?

Some still submit but why waste time on a failing biz model?

Yes.

However, the motivation to do so is not all about the gallery themselves.

We have a lot of gallery submitters making sales every day.

It's the submitters that spend time making quality galleries with great sales text.:thumbsup:thumbsup

I do but very selectively. I wouldn't waste time with a small site, I suspect most people are the same. You would need to have a way of getting the traffic flowing first

If I was going for a TGP I'd watch in the Buy and Sell for a 6 weeks or so and you'd get something decent come up; it would save you an awful lot of effort

Nope, the hard bit is to get a loyal following of regular submitters. There aren't many submitters and most are in their routine with blinkers on.

GOOD galleries still do very well but now it takes a bit of time and effort

Yep, I still submit at least 2 galleries every day.

none, the hun makes his money from pre-paid gallery spots in the top 15 listings. The rest are all free listings.

Still submitting galleries daily. It's not as profitable as it used to be but it's still steadily working.

i still have about 150 regular/semi regular submitters...
nothing like the "old days" but enough to keep me busy...

I don't know/care if they do... and probably some of them do... but I don't.

gallery submitting is DEAD period.

most gallery submitters quit already. Only a 10% remain submitting every single day, but they are failing and their income is DECREASING every single day.

They still work like slaves, but the expensive EURO living is killing them because they are doing less than 5 years ago.

They will soon quit completely.

You can find their nicks on whorevideos.com. There you can see who still submits like a slave 5 gals per day.

I just wonder why they still crash their heads against the wall every day and don't change their strategy or choose any other business where it's 50458254 times easier and faster to make money and more money than with this.

Maybe they are sadomasochist?

BTW, You can see it's a failing business when this happens:

Year 2005: Gallery submitters had to BEG TGP-MGP owners to get a submitter account.

Year 2011: TGP-MGP owners are desperately begging to get more gallery submitters.

Conversions have gone down a lot over the years, but on the other hand it's becoming easier for a newbie to get some traffic together; less money means less competition

if i want extremely repetitive boring work with low pay i go to the local meat factory to pack crates for 8 hours straight every day.

True, though if you leave your job at the meat factory you aren't left with any shares in the meat factory. If the submitter decides to stop submitting he has a website that he can sell

It's more significant the greater the length of time. Especially once we compare 5 years of regular submitting compared to 5 years in the meat factory

And people pay you for the pleasure of working for you. It's a bit like the Playboy Casting Calls, the models now actually pay Playboy to photograph them naked in a Casting Call

Gallery submitting isn't my thing but I still submit on some accounts and make sales. Just gotta find out where the good traffic is and where to send 'em.

It's not rocket science.

I have someone who does it for me, they get paid well for their time and I still make profit. I haven't personally submitted a gallery in over 18 months, but it still makes me decent money each month.

You gotta know what the hell you are doing.

Exactly, one has to sniff around carefully to find out the type of traffic the TGP is giving. There are still good TGP traffic sources out there and there are also lots of others that are giving out junk traffic

i'll list one gallery for free, if you want to test the traffic ...
