Did you check the spelling on your sites? Did you recently add google adsense? Did you add really good content?

web-adulter 01-30-2011 12:36 AM

i have top positions already 3-4m, dont you think its enough? Its a tube site, so i dont think its a reason. I dont add google adsense. About content, well, its good, i think.

web-adulter 01-30-2011 05:57 AM

well, i mean thats iam using custom made videos from sponsors affiliates content.

jonnydoe 01-30-2011 06:05 AM

Custom writing too?

TheDoc 01-30-2011 06:10 AM

As Machete pointed out... Google update.

They went after content farms. Basically site that share/repeat information, offer no real unique value over a group of other related sites. Many of the article sites, q&a type sites, aggregate style sites... are repeat, mostly trash/spun crap - these were the real targets.

So if your porn site uses the same titles, desc, banners, images, names (or very close) as everyone else and you basically spun it around a different design, style, layout.. maybe a few new keywords - You ARE a content farm (nothing unique) and thus will be hit with the penalty.

You can use the same content as others - but you must go above the call and also add in something unique, that makes you stand out/be different. One helper is comments, it add words/keywords to the page, increases views, length of time on page, etc..

web-adulter 01-30-2011 06:15 AM

no, we using sponsor descriptions.

web-adulter 01-30-2011 06:16 AM

TheDoc interesting, but why only me :(

So you "are" using sponsor descriptions?

If that's the case, it's time to make them unique... unique titles, meta's, on page text, keywords, etc.

Think of your page as blank, no graphics, no video, no buttons/ads, etc.. just black text / white background (titles, meta's, text stuff). Now ... how different is your site vs. the next affiliates using the same content? That's what you need to work on.

PatrickKing 01-30-2011 06:30 AM

Try to stay away from sponsor hosted content as well (if possible). You will do much better hosting all yourself. But as TheDoc said change all file names as well as descriptions.

web-adulter 01-30-2011 07:07 AM

Okay, thanks guys, btw, how do you think, i have on my other bigger sites thumb blocks as a "tube videos" with links on hisgaytube videos, am i must do drop such block asap to dunno receive penaties from google on these sites ot its doesnt matter?

femdomdestiny 01-30-2011 07:11 AM

I am always using custom descriptions for my links at www.femdomdestiny.com but few days ago , google dropped me to bottom of second page.from what I see, completrly new sites are overtaking important positions, which means that they are probably cheating.xrummer or something like that.now way that they are better nad have more appropriate content then sites years old in my niche.it already happened many times and google don't care.

Be careful not to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

web-adulter 01-30-2011 07:17 AM

Yes, my site is on second page for the most top5 keys now.

SteveHardeman 01-30-2011 07:33 AM

Have you tried the "time-shifting" app. You can set it to time-shift your site back to January 24th. And then just get a custom script that re-time-shifts everything to Jan 24th each day. :-) If that doesn't work then I guess what TheDoc said might be a decent second option.

Yours dropped because you sell links in your footer... and "I am always using custom descriptions for my links" - that text doesn't benefit your site, it benefits the site you're linking to (and your readers). Then you have far more external links to other people than internal links to yourself - if most of the content you linked to was also hosted by you - you would probably be able to slip the footer links in.

brassmonkey 01-30-2011 09:38 AM

Agent 488 01-30-2011 12:06 PM

dude you lost ten positions. if that flusters you seo is not for you.

beta-tester 01-30-2011 12:07 PM

the algo has changed.... everybody's seeing decline in G traffic

Rochard 01-30-2011 12:34 PM

I had a similar problem with Google pix search last November. It seems to have corrected itself.

epitome 01-30-2011 12:49 PM

I just looked and I am seeing a bump in traffic.

Never use sponsor supplied text or if you do, rewrite the hell out of it.

I get a little lazy but I would say less than 10% of my text is sponsor provided. Even that number may be too high.

wehateporn 01-30-2011 02:39 PM

I paid someone a lot of money to do some scripting once, afterwards the same thing happened to me. I was reluctant to roll back the changes as I had paid. Then after 18 months I realised I had to change it back, I did and within a few weeks the Google traffic was back

shahab6 01-30-2011 05:22 PM

have you changed any content in your website?

I want to use custom descriptions for fhg's of one sponsor, but the problem there is 5000 fhg's and it would take ages to complete it :(

It's about how much your time is worth and if you could outsource

I've been in a similar situation before

icymelon 01-30-2011 07:00 PM

did you lose any of your quality inbound links?
