Where to relax in Cali to escape cold
 

So I went to Scottsdale, AZ recently to get some warm weather and I had a blast. Now I'm looking to hit Cali for a few days for some fun in the sun. Any recommendations? I'm thinking L.A. (Malibu or Redondo Beach area) or San Diego. Needs to be warm and with a beach. I won't be golfing or hitting Mexico if I end up in San Diego.

So GFYers, give me your recommendations. Would love to hear about hotels (prefer Marriott), sites to see, etc.

I am in San Diego. Next week is suppose to be only low 70's. When u planning ur trip?

Kinda flexible; based on airline tickets. Probably in the next 3 weeks.

I'm cool with the 70s! Hit Scottsdale when it was in low 70s about a week ago, and I loved it! Coming from Seattle, so anything above 70 is a-ok with me :thumbsup

I've been to L.A. and Redondo before, but not Malibu. Haven't been to San Diego.
