Just got one of those 'Don't click here' warnings on GFY

It was in the thread about your friend and mine Chris Mallick.

I have just started with FF4 and it just about called 911 for me..

The offending IP - I assume in a sig - ****************

EddyTheDog 01-28-2011 09:57 PM

BIGTYMER 01-28-2011 10:13 PM

lol @ "random bs warning" why would they randomly give you a warning that was bs..

someones sig is on an exploited server or is serving exploits..

Jakez 01-29-2011 12:41 AM

I see threads like this all the time but have never gotten a similar warning in FF...

I dont know thats just my feeling about those warning messages , sometimes they are really based on something silly, not something that will actually fuck with your system :2 cents:

i getcha i was just yankin yer chain..

the most common warning is going to be that your being served content from a server known to also serve exploits, not nec that the content is an exploit.
