biggest newbie mistake is to start a paysite first
it just makes things alot harder to start

I think the point she was making was that 10 years ago, people surfed websites simply because they were there. Back then it wasn't uncommon to actually follow links on the "links" pages.

What were you doing 'back then' on the net? In 1993? Did you have a links page?

free and avs sites. dip your toes into tgp's if you want. should learn how to convert before diving in head first, imo.
