Elton John had a little baby boy.

What's your take on gay couples having babies???

I personally think it's great for him and sure the boy will be loved and well surrounded. But yeah he might not have much chance of discovering the joy of pussy :Oh crap

PR_Glen 01-20-2011 09:18 AM

ummm aren't people born gay? I don't think them being gay will have anything to do with his sexual orientation...

ottopottomouse 01-20-2011 09:20 AM

Seeing as gay men are usually snowed under with stunning women I doubt he will miss out much.

amateurbfs 01-20-2011 09:23 AM

Poor kid.

Sarah_Jayne 01-20-2011 09:24 AM

Enough gay people had straight parents and still figured out they were gay.

CaptainHowdy 01-20-2011 09:27 AM

I prefer the closeted version of Elton John...

with as much money has ej has the kid is gonna be fucked gay or not

baddog 01-20-2011 09:28 AM

It has nothing to do with his sexual orientation, I just think it is extremely unfair to the kid to have a father old enough to be his grandfather.

If he had adopted a kid, I would probably feel different.

czarina 01-20-2011 09:30 AM

good for the kid. He will have a privileged life and probably be very loved and pampered.

cooldude7 01-20-2011 09:34 AM

no one is born gay.

JFK 01-20-2011 09:41 AM

Saw the photo of the 2 of them, with Elton holding the baby, huge grin on his face, great shot.:thumbsup

SmokeyTheBear 01-20-2011 10:16 AM

anyone but elton john ( since mj is already dead )

SmokeyTheBear 01-20-2011 10:25 AM

but seriously , seems to me being gay is more of a fetish that has turned into a lifestyle, but it's hard to put myself in a gay mans shoes , being hetero.

I think a person should be judged if your judging on his/her actions not his/her fetish's, with that being said , i think there is a stigma attached to being a gay guy that they are molesters and thus clouds opinion on how good of a parent they would be.

BlackCrayon 01-20-2011 11:10 AM

gay parents always say they want the kid to be whatever the want but you just know deep down they want the kid to be gay and will subconciously influence him if nothing else. hell i know some single mothers who hope their boy is gay so they can do girlly things with him...

on top of that celebrity adoptions. well the kid will be mostly raised by nannies and such. i feel sorry for kids of celebs in a way. sure they have all the riches they could ask for but how much is the parent there or how much do they care? probably after their own career, beauty, social life, etc.

I would just want my kid to be happy.. And actually given people like on this board I would wish them straight

Chezter 01-20-2011 12:10 PM

I don't know maybe there should be some limits, I'm quite open minded, but usually societies where all boundaries are crossed and every tradition destroyed ends up in tyrany again. It is also really selfish not letting baby to have mother.

doesn't matter if you believe it, it's the truth... Did you just decide one day you like women? no... happened long before you can remember...

you are living in political correctness land if you believe it isn't possible for someone to become gay based on factors that occur after birth.

why do single mothers have more gay kids? are people born bisexual? if people are born gay its a gentic malfunction and that doesn't sound good for the gay community. it makes it sound like something is wrong with them. i don't agree that something is wrong with them. its just what someone prefers. some people like pickles, some like clams. no biggie but the absense of a male or female parent has a definite effect on kids, like it or not.

Agreed!

What about George Michael. He wasn't gay at birth. He went with all sorts of chicks. Then turned gay.

I don't believe he was gay all along...

That or he was gay but at that time he would have lost any hope at a career by admiring he was gay. So, he went with women to cover it up. Even Elton John sued (and won) a newspaper that claimed he was gay when he married a woman.

You know, I was born with my sexuality. I had feelings about my attractions very early on. I would imagine that is the case with most straight people too. You just are attracted to what you are attracted to but the question is if you act upon it or not.

Holly Lez! 01-20-2011 05:14 PM

I love that all heteros here have us gays figured out! Thank god for you guys

I disagree. In the last year I have personally met over, uhm, let's say 50 lesbians. There were the insecure ones, the rejected ones, the misunderstood ones, the rebel ones. But there were some that were 100% gay. Born this way.

how do you know something didnt happen to you or you experienced something during the formative early years that are impossible for you to remember, that forged your sexuality?

I agree with you Glen. Everyone that I know that is gay have been that way from as long as I can recall. We all new they danced to the beat of a different drummer. I am sure that there are those that evolved into it homosexuality or bisexuality but to be truly gay...I think they were just built that way.

What happened to you that forged your heterosexuality? Perhaps your mommy did something to you when you were very young, that's impossible for you to remember, which made you straight.

I'm a single Gay father that's raised my, now 17 year old, son since birth. I've always been honest about my sexuality, and I'm not a flaming faggot, is that what made my son straight?

Perhaps your masculine Gay father made your straight? :pimp

idiot

Either way, after college, my son's starting the straight side of the porn family business that I've run the last 10 years. He'll have a more rounded view of the industry then some of the people here :321GFY

Like what? The first time I can remember having an attraction to a female I was eight. Which, is also about the same time I started to have crushes on boys. I wasn't abused, I didn't have any early sexual experiences, etc. So, what happened that made me and eight have an attraction to a female?

Sure, maybe there is something but I can't think of what it would have been. I grew up in a very Christian household and there would never have been anything but straight iconography around.

i can pretty much guarentee your son will/did struggle with his sexuality more so than if he had straight parents. i know i would question myself more if i had gay parents because you assume some of what they are is what you are...

i'm not a woman but it seems finding women attractive is a whole different ball game. mainly because women are viewed as sexual by society as a whole. were you attracted to an eight year old girl or an older version of womanhood?

Congrats to Elton John and David Furnish, on the birth of their child, Zachary.

The phrase "had a little boy" worries me in this case. Maybe you should say adopted a baby boy.

I was worried on another level as well.

I was thinking: Damn! I sure hope they fished Elton's newborn baby out of the toilet bowl before it drowned.

what's sad, of course, we aren't creating threads about heterosexual couples having children 'in vitro' or whatever, and questioning if they'll sexually abuse the children

and if stats were to be put up on who is responsible for what..

i don't know what but that was my point. it's really impossible to know if a person was born with a preference or developed it. isn't it?
