They are the best!

I have used them for years. Honestly they are one of the best. Support very good. Class act quality service.

They did a good job moving my sites and getting my VPS setup. I try to avoid VPS plans because they can still go down due to other users on the server. Although maybe Xen is better at managing resources so that doesn't happen.

Their support is good but not always that quick. You might be waiting a while for something to get taken care of, I never use emergency/urgent status though. Their plans are pretty cheap if you need lots of bandwidth, so you can't expect cheap plans and amazing support. They also have different levels of support, but most web host do. Their support team is probably sick of me by now and they haven't said GFY yet so that's a plus. :pimp

I'm using one of their shared hosting accounts for 2 small sites and I'm very happy with it.

Huh? They have ALWAYS replied to my tickets in less than <5 minutes... including the ones marked as "low_low_prio_I_dont_even_care_myself_..."

and they actually _solve_ stuff (no bitching around)

You must be special then because they aren't responding that fast to me. Here's the response for just one ticket tonight...

The first reply nothing was done. The second and third I asked them to add some IPs to a file and they replied after they did it. Honestly I think it's fine for what they charge.

You will be very happy there and only ask yourself why you didn't make the move earlier.


About adding IPs, I of course have no insight at all what happened in your specific case but I do know that IPs sometimes can take a bit of time to re-route. And if I were a tech, I wouldn't reply back to the customer before it's in a working condition.

They do the job.If they dont do it,then you can always call them out on gfy :)

for me the opposite, virtual hosting is great

vps forget them, no real ssh access,no root access, everytime you wanna shell you need to contact support they are managed, so if you have no problem in contacting support everytime you wanna install, fix something they are okay but forget them if you are used to fix things on your on on the shell

I guess you're talking about my post. They weren't adding IPs to their DNS or anything like that. It was just to whitelist my IP range on my server for stuff I had installed. There was nothing they could do to see if it was working right except ask me sense it was my IP. The response times I posted are normal for me, not just that ticket. I guess they don't like me if you guys are getting these amazing response times, oh well.

They can't be beat. Excellent support.

Jimmycastor, this is a misunderstanding of what you ordered from us. Our current VPS plans on the site are listed as managed plans. We don't give out root access on our managed plans as we aren't going to compete with the client when it comes to managing the plan, we are not the only hosting company that handles their managed plans this way. If you really want a self or semi-managed plan with root access on a VPS plan all you have to do is contact us. As to SSH access, all VPS and Dedicated plans include SSH access, you just need to submit your IP address to support so we can add it to our firewall. I know this may seem like an inconvenience but it helps with network security.

I have nothing but love for Amerinoc. I hate the name Amerinoc but a rose by any other name...

Amerinoc support is great, I appreciate their patience and help they always provide. Their VPS plans are cheap and very stable and managed 24/7.

Ive been with Amerinoc (previously known as phatservers) since 2001.

Over 10 years of great service IMO.

count me in between those happy with Amerinoc. No surprise the only complain is that instead of 5 mins for a support ticket it took 10 mins. That speaks bunches, it's a very pleasant surprise to find support from hosting companies that won't take hours or even days to get back to customers

Had a DB problem the other day, early on a Sunday morning in the US and they fixed it within 5 minutes.

They are tube friendly if you are using the script to pull sponsor hosted content, but if you want to host all the content and convert the video's with your script then we feel shared environments are not right for this. We offer VPS plans with DirectAdmin included that give you full reseller ability if that is what you need. Contact us if you need a custom option. :)
