Indeed, you can see $1000+ tips dropped in MFC at times to clothed girls, in exchange of absolutely nothing, and mfc take half of it.
Further, in mfc I seen following type of tip war: a guy tip $50 to have the girl remove clothes (he wanna see her nude), then another guy counter-tip $50 for her to keep clothes (he wanna be boyfriend and impress her), and finally the girl keep clothed and got lots of money, and myfreecams got 50% of this.
Of course this does not work in most other cam sites as are not built on this logics or simply have not the traffic (as tippers is 1 every 999 freeloaders).
On a side note I have tips on public shows since long time at ChatGF.com and some girls make more in tips than in private chat minutes, this is from day 1 I launched the site.

Yes I've seen the numbers of MFC - staggering... alot of those girls make a killing. I hope we can get there one day.

We setup our tip software to work like this. A Customer can tip a model in free chat or in private chat of course, but in free chat, he has a choice : He can tip PUBLICLY or PRIVATELY. When he tips in public, his Name + amount is shown to the girl and to everyone else. But when he tips Privately, his name is not revealed to the public. Only the girl knows who tipped her.

The tip is split between us and the model, but our software allows the split to be adjusted.

The cool thing though is how this girl gets her tips. She stays wrapped up in her blanket most of the time and talks about how nice it is to cuddle. There are a few guys who find this very sexy and tip a few bucks here and there, but a few others complain and want her to show everything just like the other girls. When she refuses, she is tipped.. !!
