Paxum vs emc2payouts ?
I'm looking for a new provider for prepaid cards to pay some of our affilialtes, currently I'm trying to decide if we should go with paxum or emc2payous.
Anyone know the limits of Paxum cards? Balance / withdrawal limits? What banks issues the cards for them (and from what countries) And same question about emc2payouts. |
Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Paxum and others now have the option to transfer funds to your ewallet by ACH, When will i-payout have that option? WOuld be nice to cut down on wire transfer fees.

all the shit that went down. i don't think its wise to keep all your eggs in one basket.

Some more points on our EMC2Payouts program:
EMC2Payouts has always had ACH and at a lower cost than our competition - $3. We also have international transfer to bank accounts anywhere outside the US for $5. We agree, this is a great way to save over the cost of wires. Also, you can open an account with us and be charged only $5 upon your first funding and $2 per month thereafter. This is a very low entry point to try out our reliable service. You can order our Globe Visa pre-paid card and pay only a $19.95 activation fee. And we charge only $32.50 for international fed ex. All in all, with our stored value card, you can get started with EMC2Payouts for as little as $57.45, as opposed to as much as $44.95 + $95 for international fed-ex costs from our competitors. Another key point for ongoing card costs, our ATM fee is capped at $3.50 and 35 basis points. We got our card program manager to take the risk on any cross border and/or foreign exchange fees above that amount. If you understand what ATM fees can cost outside the US, then you know this is very aggressive. It is a huge savings for our account holders who use the Visa card we provide. Some of our competitors have costs from $2 + 70 basis points cb/fx, to as high as $2.15 + 1.8% to 3% cb/fx for ATM withdrawals. And as Laura Lee mentioned earlier, we are adding more and more card programs onto our e-wallet platform for you to choose from. We do not want to limit our clients to just one card choice. ePassporte taught a hard lesson in that regard to many good people. We are a payment processor that was asked by our longtime adult merchants to find them a reliable solution for payouts. We selected IPS because they have years of successful operations in this space. Payment processing is our business for over 15 years and we found a solution that meets everyone?s objectives at competitive pricing. That?s why many of the very biggest companies in the industry use EMC2Payouts powered by IPS. Companies currently using EMC2Payouts exclusively include Streamates, Webcams, Eurorevenue, and others. We are integrated into NATS and MPA3 , also longtime business vendors and friends of ours. If you want a full list of the programs using EMC2Payouts, LauraLee can provide. Good luck and we hope you?ll give us a try. |
Thanks for all the feedback I received, I decided to go with emc2payouts for now as they appear to offer the most options.

I just wanted to clarify a couple of things regarding our fees in case there is any confusion based on other posts in this thread...
When you signup for Paxum as a webmaster there is no setup fee, there is no signup fee, there is no monthly fee whatsoever. As soon as your account is verified, whether you are a US/Canadian/European/International webmaster, you have the option to request your Paxum Mastercard without first loading any funds into your account. When you request your Paxum card you will see a $44.95 deduction from your ewallet account which is the charge for the annual fee. This cost is then shown as a negative balance in your ewallet account until you receive your first payment. We ship the Paxum Mastercard absolutely ANYWHERE completely free, unless you choose to request express shipping. You don't have to pay ANYTHING up front to get your Paxum card! As far as ATM fees and Forex fees go, Paxum has a standard $2USD ATM fee for ALL users, business or personal, and that is capped at $2USD. We do not add ANY points to the Forex fees so whatever the bank machine you are using is charging for the exchange rate, that is all you will be paying. We consider a set $2USD fee for everyone to be fair, and the right way to do business with all our clients, both Domestic and International. We have been experiencing fast growth with over 160 adult sponsors paying out through our service, and thousands of personal clients sending and receiving money every day. We are adapting accordingly. We have added more withdrawal and load tools and more will be coming in the near future. We are constantly evolving with our clients needs. Our accounts are easy to use, secure, we offer instant loading from your ewallet to your Paxum Mastercard, and our cards are accepted everywhere in the world you see the Mastercard logo. Due, thanks for considering us. Feel free to hit me up anytime if you ever change your mind about adding Paxum. I'm sure, from the looks of this thread, that quite a few of your webmasters would appreciate it. :thumbsup |
IPS, we are using them as well

Right now my choice was based on the availability of a EURO wallet and the EURO card. I'm definitely going to look back once those options are available :thumbsup I did business with Octav already 10+ years ago and got only good things to say :) |

Be very careful about I-payout EUR card....the limis are very low, 500 EUR max monthly card balance, and the actual withdrawal limit is 170 EUR max/transaction, so you end up paying a lot of fees as you have to do multiple withdrawals. Also card loading might take 1-2 days, they send wires to M2 (the company that issues the cards) but they are never big enough and then they have to send another and so on, and 1-2-3 days until their wire to M2 settles the cards are not loaded... They claim that they will have a new EUR card soon, but nothing until now. Also the same about the GBP card that was supposed to be live in the first week of january... |
Ruth, how long the checks take? I am waiting for my december 2010 check still :/

Looks like the transfer from ewallet to Ipayout prepaid card (both USD and EUR) now is supposed to take 3 days... anyone else having this problems ?
|
bump for LauraLee

Support reply :
Boris: We will try to settle them all by the end of this week. We apologize for the inconvenience it has caused you. Support : As soon as the funds are on our account, all the prepaid cards will be loaded. Me: and when the funds will be into your account ? Boris: hopefully by the end of this week So now it takes "hopefully" 1 week to load their "instant" prepaid cards... Laura is not responding to emails anymore, so be very careful if you have funds in i-payout/EMC2 |

I am confused about me not answering emails. I am not aware of any that have gone unattended. I have you added on ICQ, please feel free to contact me there as well. We are in the process of adding the new EUR card, as you pointed out, the limits (500 eur) were just not acceptable and we were under the impression they could be raised with additional KYC. That was not the case, which is why we began the process to offer a new/better EUR card. I was told by tech this morning that it is in the final stages and should be in the next couple days. Thank you, LauraLee |

IPS selected the Globe Wallet Visa prepaid card as one of the options on the platform because it is a flexible and low cost card program, on the largest card network in the world, issued by a stable, reliable bank with the ability to issue the cards worldwide outside of the US. We asked IPS to add instant loads to the stored value card option on our platform about 60 days ago. A nice feature for sure. For the most part, it has run smoothly, however, the e-wallet accounts are at Post/Deutsche Bank in Germany and the card program is managed out of GBC bank in Antigua, and because of this, IPS has found it to be an issue sometimes with wires to the Globe Wallet load accounts. Postbank wires are routed internationally through Deutsche Bank, Frankfurt to Deutsche Bank & Trust New York, then to Antigua! A crazy protocol, but this is how Deutsche does it and as a result, wires can take as much as 4-5 days to get to GBC in Antigua to the loading account. In general, we could not have a better e-wallet bank than Postbank/Deutsche. But IPS and EMC2 are looking at this one issue and intend to resolve it and quickly. With all the payout options that our e-wallet supports, IPS did not previously have a lot of demand for stored value cards, from their MLM clients for example, so this has been a learning experience, because in the adult space we seem to be somewhat card centric. So the timing of wires, estimates of usage, etc., can be a moving target and has sometimes been an issue. Maybe this is why one of our competitors who has their cards issued out of Belize, has standard loads taking 3-5 days, while they charge $5 for 'express loads' within 2 hours. :) Anyway, we and IPS are learning and improving the timing and reliability of the instant load feature, which we offer at no additional charge, of course. GBC, the card issuing bank, and our program manager for the Globe Wallet Visa card are working with IPS to streamline the process of getting funds from the e-wallet accounts at Post to the loading account in Antigua much more quickly, including with the addition of another correspondent bank for wiring. We are all committed to getting this process streamlined, and we are sorry that the instant load feature has been somewhat inconsistent recently. We are going to make sure to do everything necessary to have this resolved shortly. Of course, the other thing to mention is that we have a new card program going onto the IPS platform in the next couple of days with cards issued by a financial institution in the UK. Getting funds to the load account there will of course, be same day or next day, thus insuring reliability on the instant load aspect. But be assured, IPS and EMC2 are also going to make sure and get the process streamlined for instant loading on the Globe Wallet Visa cards. It is an excellent, low cost, quality card program for non-US e-wallet account holders with EMC2Payouts. |
Well...wires can be send with same day value, even to Antigua. A Swift message takes no more than 1 minute to reach from one corresponded bank to another and since being in the same bank group they mostly sure have an internal automated system to process it to the final corresponded of Bank of Commerce Antigua...i have seen same day wire transfers to epassporte with no problems.
The problem is that once you want to transfer funds to the debit card, the funds are blocked in "processing" and they are "in motion" ...you can not use them for other payments but you can not use them on the debit card either for 3-4-5 days. You should put a note inside the system "debit card loaded delayed for 4-5 days" and not leave like it is now, where people should expect instant transfer and then have the funds "in motion" for 4-5 days... Something like the one for Payoneer that take 4-6 weeks...(this i am sure is not your fault, as payoneer is probably blocking all "refunds" to their cards from you as a competitor) 1/7/2011 5:25:45 PM *Attention Payoneer Cardholders: Due to increased card restrictions, eWallet to Credit Card transactions to Payoneer cards may take up to 4 - 6 weeks to show up on your card. |

Why are i-payouts ewallet to credit card transfers taking so long? My first one took 5 days and my current one is now on day 7. They are showing up as a refund on my statement. I know my credit card company and they process in 1 day.
Why so slow? Don't give the refunds take time bull either. My card company issued me a refund in as little as 30 minutes on a POS Merchant machine from a bar. So I'm looking for an answer with substance. |

On day 7 too. Refunds to my private cards usually takes from 30 minutes to 48 hrs, depending on the circumstances. |

When I asked about ACH and Ipayout, I was refering to funding the account from the bank , not withdrawls to the bank account. When will this occur.
It also seems that Paxum's ACH to bank account is handy in some ways, but takes FOREVER - Transfer that was started on the 3rd of Feb, took until the 15th to be deposited. |
