New CCBill Product (Beta Testers Needed)

Help Us Test Out Web Invoicing!

CCBill is currently running an open Beta for its new Web Invoicing service offering. Available through the CCBill Admin Portal, Web Invoicing lets you directly invoice your consumers for a single or recurring payment by creating single use payment form links that can be sent via e-mail. Consumers then use the form links to submit payment, for a simple and smooth transaction.

Invoice amounts are variable enabling you to charge consumers appropriately, and Web Invoicing supports credit card and online check payments. The service also can be configured to send you an e-mail once an invoice has been paid by one of your consumers.

To participate in the open Beta or learn more about the new service offering, please visit http://www.ccbill.com/beta or contact [email protected].

Thank you,
CCBill

Sounds awesome.

Very nice... But I would be more happy if they made a prepaid CCBILL Debit Card to pay webmasters! ;-)

SteveHardeman 01-13-2011 04:17 PM

Same fee percentage?

Cheques and wires aren't enough for sure. Some good changes being made at CCBill though. I wouldn't doubt they launch their own epass/paxum type product one day. I look forward to it. Quick before Visa and Mastercard get directly into it and steal the market. Thought I read a headline saying Mastercard was doing just that. It would only make sense seeing the success of Paypal and the Paxums and Epass before they fucked it up.

Yes the fee percentage is the same.

How is this invoice thing different from just adding a new pricing option in the admin and getting the link? Technically, we could already do this (I think).

This does sound good :thumbsup

:2 cents: I don't understand either. Paul, can you please explain the difference?

I'm usually a little slow, but I don't see the difference or what the advantage would be.

There are many advantages to this system, I will go into just a few here but it's benefits to your particular business model may not become apparent until you start playing around with it.

Web Invoicing allows you to set custom text that will appear on the signup form (we actually modify the signup form you are currently using on the fly), you can set a temporary price that will not be listed with all of your other prices in the system (or on the signup form), and you can do this all very easily from one screen.

I am often contacted by clients who want to offer a certain customer a discount or entice a certain customer to re-signup to their site and this system accommodates those scenarios perfectly. It does have quite a few uses but they really depend on individual business models.

Bingo! Thanks Paul.

When will these be going live for everyone?

Will this system ensure that affiliates get credit when it is due to them (i.e. a affiliate cookie is set)?

Unfortunately we do not have an exact date right now but we are hoping soon with the help of some testers.

The allowed minimum and maximums are based on the existing account rules so it depends on what the account is set at. Please contact me to discuss pricing further.

That really depends on the sponsor and how they wish to use the system.
