NEW YORK TheStreet -- 50 Cent is a hot search topic today following a slew of reports that claim the popular hip-hop artist earned $8.7 million on Monday through Twitter. 50 Cent Pumps H&H Imports Stock Via Twitter The New York Post reports that 50 Cent, or Curtis Jackson, helped drive up the share price of H&H Imports by promoting the penny stock via Twitter. "You can double your money right now. Just get what you can afford," he tweeted on Monday. The value of the stock rose 29 cents to 39 cents following his promotional tweets. That illegal, if trade stocks and say it's going to go up publicly and buy then you are breaking the law. It's called pumping sticks and is a huge fine and maybe Jail. Also the people taking his advise can be prosecuted.
