Joan was on the CBC news tonight speaking on behalf of the ASACP.com in regards to internet child porn.
On behalf of all the legit adult sites out there I want to give you a HUGE heart felt THANK YOU. If you were here right now i think I might just HUG you. I think it was the FIRST time I ever saw a news piece on child porn on TV that put legit adult sites in a positive light. THANK YOU JOAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
CBC is good fairly unbiased news, espially for North America. I hope they don't shut it down. (For those of you that don't know, CBC is Government Funded Canadian tv network).

She is doing a great job.
In the UK we very much need a spokesperson like her. The heat is really being turned up on the online porn biz here and the recent scandals hasn't helped. Whenever someone does an article or a call in show there is never an industry person qouted or on the panel. Instead they have had to go find someone in the video portion of the biz and whislt they have trouble too we have unique pressures. |
that's very nice, hopefully we'll see similar events in the future. Additionally this educates the surfers on how to report them, since many of them do not know.
|
Do you know if they post transcripts of the show somewhere? I would like to read it.
|
I wish I had known about this!
Anyone know how to see it again? |
Cool! I reported a link to them today.
email - "Thank you for contacting ASACP. We have reported the site to both the U.S. Customs Service and the F.B.I. " |
This is an e-mail I received...I guess many of you got the same.
