Where are you moving to Vegas from ?

My business partner is based there, he uses a Cox business account and I remember being at his house when he did a speed test and he was getting almost 15mbit downstream.

What kind of work do you do?

MY BUSINESS PARTNER IS BASED THERE!! HE USES A COX BUSINESS ACCOUNT AND I REMEMBER BEING AT HIS HOUSE WHEN HE DID A SPEED TEST AND HE WAS GETTING ALMOST 15MBIT DOWNSTREAM!!

cox is really the only high-speed company in vegas.. we have clear here in vegas.. and with clear you might get 2mb/s.. and dsl is about the same speed.. My cox cable i get 20megs.. and they have a 50meg also..

The post by ~Ray pretty much gives you everything you need as far as utilities go. I have the Cox "Ultimate" internet connection which is 50 MBS down and 5 up. It's great!

Now that you have all the mundane everyday stuff down for Vegas...you'll need to hook up with me to show you all the things that a man must have to really LIVE. In other words once you get moved in, I'll show you where the cheap drinks, hot bitches, and overall seedier side is in this town. :pimp

We have Cox cable at my place in Vegas and DirecTV in LA. DirecTV wins hands down, not even close.

co-sign just moved to vegas this new years and got the ultimate 50 down/5 up. heavy FTPing will not affect your surfing :)

Next time I get to Vegas, I would like a tour of the real Vegas by you - if possible.
So far I have seen the strip, the grayhound bus station and the gun shop.
The grayhound station was an experience out of the ordinary. It was in jan 2005.
