Hosted Movie Galleries or Hosted Movie Content?
 

What would you prefer a sponsor to offer?

With hosted movie galleries you are restricting the MGPs that they can be submitted to, due to rules and recips etc.

Alternatively you could provide a library of hosted clips that affiliates could hotlink into their own galleries, they could put one or many clips into a single gallery and they would have complete control over recips.

I can see a few technical problems with this second approach even whilst writing this but I just wondered what you guys thought and even if its already being done by anyone.

1. that method isn't for submitter it's for tgp owners

2. most tgps/mgps expect the videos to be on the same domain as the page. but hey, you can let you affilaites hotlink your movies.
make sure you have about 10 load balanced servers and a GigE

I checked out your sites. Who is licensing the Gag Factor series to you?

Make hosted movie galleries. They aren't ever going to be submitted to a MGP anyways.

Make the content also available for submitters to make and host their own galleries.

If you were to let gallery makes hotlink to your movies you are no longer controlling the marketing of the galleries - which is a scary thought LOL

Plus hotlinking sites will eat you alive.

I don't see any Gag Factor Series but it would either be AEBN, Hosted Content or Adult Legal.
