I think the main concern would be the fact it's not coming from a lightspeed administrative email address.

The whois information for adultcashcows.com is also totally different than that of lightspeedcash.

Anyone who sends this information without getting verification from LSCash is just asking for trouble.

Especially those who hand out their SSNs

their full name is lightspeed media corp, right? their domain stuffs look legit...

but i'd personally call the company or something first for clarification. if nothing else, that's not secure media :)

if ya all would log into lightspeedcash you will notice the same information is posted on their message area. I checked as I was suspicious as well.

So unless LS got totally hacked I am sure it is legit.

Ya, i got it too & thought it was shady at first too, cuz it came from adultcashcow.com

...but it says reply to an email addr at ls-media.com, so i figured it was legit.

We did send this email out
however this was the first time
using the internal mailing system in
stats package and it was still hardcoded
to the company traphica installed befor
we bought it

I have since resent the email with the
proper repley email address


yes we do need you to give us the proper info
we have found that many people dont have it
in there stats

and yes if you are in the USA you do have
to pay taxes

If it is legit You better come up with a better solution than that, I doubt many people would be crazy enough to send SSN information through open text email and its really unprofesional to even ask anyone to do that.

they are required by law if you/they live in the united states .

if you have obviously bogus info in there or no info and you are US, that should be why you got it.

priest...The title of this thread is fucked up. The only thing shady about this is the fact that some people do not want their SSN to be known to the sponsors. Not saying that you should not be careful but the title of this thread was uncalled for. :2 cents:

I think You Miss the point, They ARE one of my sponsors and they HAVE my SSN. If they sent an email saying update your info, SSN etc at the SECURE site I dont think that many folks would have a prob with it, But I will not send my SSN through unsecure Text email, no one should, thats dangerous and dumb.

I'm not even in the US and i got one...

I'd say it wasn't a very targeted mailout.

We got the same email. No big deal if you have a tax id number. Doing business in America does usally require these things. Taxes are coming.......:mad:
