I am just starting out on a weight loss regime and I have to say I am noticing results already. Maybe in a year you will be able to congratulate me too :)

Machete_ 01-07-2011 06:45 AM

pristine 01-07-2011 06:53 AM

You're sucking in your gut so much in the after pic, let that out and you're at 43" still.

ajrocks 01-07-2011 06:56 AM

Congratulations, CurrentlySober. A lot of people talk about math, numbers and measurements. A lot of the time, the question is: what are the right numbers in life? Is there such a thing as the right numbers in life? Well, you can sure think about numbers such as your body fat percentage. Well done on achieving the beautiful look of your body that nature intended.

seeandsee 01-07-2011 08:15 AM

I am going on same shit next day

Well, I am not really ON an diet... In the normal sense of 'Going on a diet'...

I still eat 'normal' unhealthy meals daily. Chips & beans, with chicken nuggets or sausages... Full sunday Lunches... 2 or 3 bars of dairy milk chocolate a day... I always have a couple of pot noodles at night... Plus as an example of me 'not being on a diet'... Tonight I'm having a chicken curry and egg fried rice with chips from my local chinky... So I am certainly not starving myself

Two things are different though.

1) I dont drink anymore (Well not the liter of smirnoff before breakfast style of drinking...) Although as I type this I am having a glass of 'Barnsly Gold' from the acorn brewery of barnstable... That has just arrived as a late xmas pressie

&

2) I bought a treadmill...

I do 3 X 20 min walks a day. Once in the morning, once after lunch, and one early evening... I only WALK. I dont run, and I ONLY do it for 20 Mins. NOT A MIN MORE !

I cover around 1.3 miles per 20 min session. While I dont get sweaty, and barely even notice the 'workout' (Cause I do it infront of the TV - Hence the 20 min limit... One 'half hour TV show minus commercials) & that works out at 1.3 miles X 3 times a day, = 3.9 miles a day. 7 Days a week = 27.3 miles a week...

The equivalent of walking a marathon, uphill each week...

But thats it really... It flies in the face of all the healthy eating and going to the gym style advice you hear... But thats it. Simple as that, and it works !

Seriously. Get a treadmill - Put it next to the PC, or the TV... Weigh yourself...
Then do 20 mins, 3 times a day. NO MORE THAN THAT... Watch a half hour show on TV or your PC each time

YOU WONT EVEN NOTICE YOURSELF DOING IT...

Forget all about 'being on a diet' - Just be aware that theres no need to be stupid with eating silly amounts...

Do this for 3 months, and weigh yourself. You'll be really surprised !

I intend to loose another 2 stone (28 Pounds) within the next 6 months from that alone... And I still eat what I want, and dont even notice the treadmill :)

So assuming you wanna loose your amount, that would take you a year :)

adultchatpay 01-07-2011 09:04 AM

that must be a lot of slimming herbs :)

JA$ON 01-07-2011 09:07 AM

As an uncultured American, I think I speak for all of us when I say using the measurement "stone" is quite selfish on your part. We'd appreciate (and really expect) that everyone around the world use measurements and methodologies that we and only we use regardless of how uncommon they may be around the globe. Please recalculate to pounds and edit the post.

Honest mistake...thanks :)

P.s. Congrats, I did a huge weight loss last year and it was hard, but the greatest thing I ever did. Keep it up !!!

MANN 01-07-2011 09:15 AM

Eliminating the bottle of Smirnoff for breakfast will certainly do the trick.
