Zombaio... the next epassporte?
Let's recap the past week...
1. No payouts since 22 December 2010, and next weeks payouts are marked as being late as well. Supposedly due to a "corrupt swift file", something I've actually never heard of until now. 2. When people ask about their payouts, Tomas decides it's a good idea to downplay the situation and respond with very bad humor... "Funds are in motion" (mocking epassporte)... "Funds are safe"... "Money is where it should be"... etc etc etc. 3. Service disruption due to "lags". Unable to accept new joins for nearly an entire day. New sales attempts were getting "communication error" messages as reason for failure. 4. Again with the expired certificate. Now unable to process new sign ups due to "certification failure". 5. Rates doubled overnight without any notification whatsoever. Granted, the fees are still lower than the competitors, and I'm not complaining about the fees themselves, but the sudden increase with no notification is an issue for me. 6. Some new 5% holding apparently due to some new policies from Mastercard. But then, we're also being told that the 5% hold back is being used to fund redpass.com, which is umm... stealing? Or is it borrowing without permission since we're not getting it back? Point is, it feels more like a loan than a hold back, and they're not paying us interest on said loan. No matter how you look at it, using our funds to pay fund their project is a big no no. Anyway, I'd really like to know wtf is going on, and most importantly... where is our money? You cannot downplay this and use excuses like "well, we've never been late before" and expect that everything is just going to be ok. Companies have been in business for 30+ years without missing payments to their employees; but for some reason, it's ok for payment processors in adult to miss payments? I don't think so. You want us to trust you? Then you really need to step in here and take our questions seriously. |
It should be!!! hahaha

it should be, sure ;)

I use them as a program and an affiliate. No issues with any of the changes and have not had any other issues with Zombaio as of yet.

The sad thing is when it comes to 3rd party processors if you have just one of the things on your list happen its cause for concern. To have so many things happen at the same time if you use them and do a lot of money through them you should be scared to shit right now.
|
hope everyone gets their money. shitty way to start a year.
|
I can accept new joins, no problem with certificate here. We will see next week if the wires come through
|
Zombaio joins and re-billings working fine here for my sites. Haven't initiated a payout yet though
|
where's DEA when you need him?

All these changes are not a good sign, and I hope it is not an indicator of bad things to come. My most recent $522 payout was created on 12/20/10 is showing as sent for clearing (late) for a settlement on 1/03/11. Hope I see progress tomorrow of a sent wire!

This is an easy one...
People: Why not get accounts with multiple billers? There are plenty out there : Segpay, CCBill, Zombaio, etc. Pick one and work with them and if you ever get concerns that are not answered to your satisfaction, then swap processors. When you have your accounts in place already, swapping processors is as simple as swapping some code most of the time. Posting scary messages (a la fox news) only makes things worse. You might scare potential new clients away (for the wrong reasons) for example, or force them to take time away to fix any problems to do some damage control here. The point is, any company who helps you make money deserves some help back, or at the very least, the benefit of the doubt. It IS the Christmas holidays after all. Banks may be closed or understaffed, who knows. Plus posting a message like this on a Sunday when the chances of an "official" reply are slim just seems a little too "Dramatic" as opposed to being "helpful" to me. Of course alot of people were burned by processors who closed up shop in the past so its normal to be nervous any time a processor misses a payment. For now though it just seems that this kind of thread is pointless. Just my 2 cents. |

as far as i know you can't simply move your rebills from one processor to the other (when using 3rd party billers). and not everyone qualifies for his own merchant account. thats why trust and reliability are needed, late payments do not help in times where several others have proven their incompetence |
we will see this week if they pay, I think they Will
|
this is not good, and new finance strike on adult biz
|
isnt ibill still around in some form maybe thats another option
|

Not to mention, as stated above, it's no simple task to move all current customers we have through zombaio to another biller. Lastly, I don't see how this is a "scare" thread, or a "drama" thread. It doesn't matter if I posted it on sunday morning or a wednesday afternoon. Every point I made is valid, as is every concern. I mean, sorry I guess if I'm one of few who care about what's going on... but so long as they owe us money, I'm not going to just sit back and hope and pray. I am going to demand answers, as I should. The bad PR that's created could have easily been avoided had they been transparent and not used lines like "funds are in motion" (mocking epassporte) and overall downplaying everything with the justification of "well, this is our first time being late so it's ok". If they want to minimize the bad PR then they need to give specific answers... like... what specific dates the new wires were sent out. Last I checked, wire transfers isn't some guess work thing, they're either sent or they're not; and if they're sent, then you damn sure know WHEN they were sent. "A few days" and "next week some time" and "funds are in motion" and "money is where it should be" are completely unacceptable answers. Not to mention, if this really were a case of a "corrupt swift file", then there should be no reason whatsoever for not having already sent out new wires. But the fact of the matter is this, no wires have been sent yet, and no one knows when the new ones will be sent; and that is a problem. Oh, right, holidays... I forgot that excuse as well. Our ccbill check was in the bank first thing monday morning (27 dec), our verotel check was in the bank friday at midnight (31 Dec)... our zombaio check though? no one knows... In the end, I want answers, not excuses and minimizing of the situation. And as a client of theirs whom they currently owe money, I think I have every right to demand answers. |
No payouts? That sucks. It's not a good sign. Good luck.
