Domain name for sale (maybe)
 

Hello all,

Although I had no intensions of selling it - a guy offered me $500. for THEFETISHPIT.COM domain name.

I don't really use the site for anything more than submitting TGP pages.

Is that a fair price for that name? -

Any better offers?

Depends on how much TGP traffic you have going to it. Its a great price for just the domain name.

It's not about what the domain is worth to him, it's what it's worth to you. How much do you need to get out of it to make it worth your while (ie, losing the galleries you have on it, etc). If that figure is less than $500, sell.

Ask him for $550 and you'll pay the transfer fee.

Do you suppose I can stay off everyone's Banned list if I write to all the TGPs that have listed pages there, and let them know to remove any links to the site?

That has come up as a possible problem because if I sell this it's all going to a 404 page.

That's what has kept me from considering letting go of any domain I have for gallery submitting... even the ones I don't use anymore, I still keep, just cuz I don't want to risk it.

Um, how will that be a problem? They will ban the domain, which you won't own anymore. Talk to the buyer and see if he cares.

If you only submit to 15-20 TGPs, you can write them, but it just isn't worth it if you Russian Submitter to 1,000 TGP's/day.

I'd say unless you were planning on turning it into a paysite or fetish hub someday, $500 is about the most you'll ever make out of it. That's a good deal on both sides.

Because I believe some of them would ban my email address too, and being the honest guy I am - I used my real email address and still use it with other domains.

I submit to about 60 TPGs - it's been a couple weeks since I've posted a new page - so the traffic is dropping pretty fast, but some of these places expect a page to stay up 60 days or more.
