Make a gallery, put it where you intend to sell the spot, if it makes over 100$/week. Then you can very well sell them for 100$. :)

you have to prove conversions, you might have awesome traffic or you might have shit thats not worth a buck a day

It doesn't matter how much traffic you get, it matters how much you send to galleries.
You can increase your traffic by setting the skim for trades to 60% and CJ'ing the surfers around all day, but that doesn't do me any good.

Keep track of how many visitors you send to say your top 10 spots.
Going rate is somewhere around .75-1.00 per K.
