my 1st experience with paxum card = 100% negative :(

well, today i got my paxum card and altho i didnt need any money (or other supplies - i buy my shit early so i dont need to beat the masses) and didnt really wanna go out (fucking snow and buttcold) i wanted to test the card. before i went to my bank i checked my balance at paxum and yes, $194,50 sitting there. that equals to about ?148 so i thot lets get ?130 (just to see the exchange rate and fees) ... but, at the ATM i got pranked!
typed ?130 ... "NO PAYOUT POSSIBLE" ...
typed ?120 ... "NO PAYOUT POSSIBLE" ...
typed ?100 ... "NO PAYOUT POSSIBLE" ...
as you can imagine i was MAJORLY pissed by now  ticket has been send; i wonder what this is about and hope it gets solved before the next payments roll in (end of the period is near :Oh crap)

anyone else such probs?

CyberHustler 12-29-2010 06:15 AM

That's what happens when you just blindly hop on the next cool middleman's nuts...

Nicky 12-29-2010 06:17 AM

You have transfered the money from your account to your card right? This is what I didn't do the first time and stood there just like you.

Chosen 12-29-2010 06:18 AM

I've withdrawn money many times with Paxum card and never had any problems.

Did you transfer money from your wallet to the card before withdrawal?

CaptainHowdy 12-29-2010 06:20 AM

I'm sure the Paxum peeps around here will take care of you...

Thanks Nicky :)

I just woke up ... but yes ... YOU MUST HAVE MONEY ON THE DEBIT CARD BEFORE YOU CAN WITHDRAW.

Nicky 12-29-2010 07:24 AM

hehe, had a feeling this was the case :)

pristine 12-29-2010 07:37 AM

Thanks for proving my point.

famous 12-29-2010 09:16 PM

i did the same thing. Hit support on icq and they told me to move it to the card and it worked fine :)

Puremeds-J 12-29-2010 09:29 PM

I got my card. Did a withdraw fine. 2 weeks later, went to do another draw, didnt work.. since transaction not supported at the atm. Tried to call the # on the card.. Entered my card number, went to enter my pin #, hung up on me.. tried 4 more times, same thing.. finally realized they must have updated something and stopped accepting pin #s that start with 0.. so I went back to the website, change my pin to start with a 1, went to the atm, worked fine.
Lesson I learned.. Paxum is small time..luckily I didnt have to wait 48hrs to fix the problem..

unfortunately yes, I use Paxum without a problem:thumbsup As with epass I do not leave funds in there:2 cents:

SpicyM 12-30-2010 02:55 AM

It is kinda stupid you have to load the card before you can withdraw.. imagine you are not able to get to your PC and you receive money you need but you cant get them. You also pay a fee for the transfer each time. With epass I could set it to put the funds directly to the card with no extra fees for that. :disgust

BTW.. same thing happened to me ;-)

Kiopa_Matt 12-30-2010 03:06 AM

Got my Paxum card, and it works great. Just as good as ePass ever did. Only difference I can tell between ePass and Paxum is the support is much better at Paxum. Very timely responses, and even from people who speak English! How thrilling. :)

TheDA 12-30-2010 03:19 AM

So, you've got to move the money from the 'wallet' to the card first. Sounds familiar.

100% agreed; the fee for an internal transfer is annoying :(

I rather be paying 25 cents than $5 bucks, like it is the case with Payoneer to load my card :2 cents:
