This movie grips you from the very beginning and it does not let you go, my heart was racing all the way up until the very end. There are elements of horror, and I was spooked more than once.

Aronofsky is extremely talented

adultwebmestar 12-28-2010 08:43 AM

This movie is overrated on imdb...

Chosen 12-28-2010 09:10 AM

Fuck... I won't going to watch it now.... :(

Davy 12-28-2010 09:10 AM

I've heard good things about the movie. But ballet? Does not interest me that much.

V_RocKs 12-28-2010 09:18 AM

Strange movie... Watching the sexy parts is pretty much worth the price of a Mr Skin password.

MrBottomTooth 12-28-2010 09:40 AM

Can someone that has seen it summarize the story for me (without spoilers)?

The commercials basically just make it look like a ballet movie. But then I hear about lesbian sex scenes and rape and I am a little more interested in it now.

nevermind, read the IMDB and sounds stupid. Will probably watch it to see the lesbian scene though.

Tom_PM 12-28-2010 09:58 AM

It's winning awards, clearly a few academy award nominees to come.

Crazy part is on the news wire this morning that Portman is engaged to her dance instructor (or somesuch) from the movie, plus she's pregnant.

brassmonkey 12-28-2010 10:02 AM

stupid movies get the awards

Has all the elements of a must watch:1orglaugh:thumbsup

"lesbian sex scenes and rape":Oh crap

Sid70 12-28-2010 10:41 AM

I may get mental off comments i read to my initial post.
This is a MUST SEE movie if you are:
1: into Natali
2: drama with bits of psycho / mystery elements
3: able to accept emotions and petting

ponyman 12-28-2010 12:09 PM

It made ballet interesting!

You won't appreciate it. May I suggest a Patrick Swayze movie instead?

NutraCash 12-28-2010 05:03 PM

I thought it was great! it was a little disturbing (like the fingernail thing) but it was really good.

TiffanyTyler 12-28-2010 06:48 PM

I loved this movie! I don't remember any rape though?

As long as it has a rape scene in it.
