Best free roaming games for PS3
 

I loved Assassins Creed2 and Brotherhood. And of course the GTA games, does anyone have any good game recommendations for me??

Red Dead Redemption: Made by GTA creators.
I haven't played Uncharted yet. Is that a sandbox game?

I bought Red Dead Redemption based on gfy's advice, I didn't like it much...don't get the point riding on a horse and shooting with old guns.

GTA on the other hand is really nice

My favorites lately are Fifa 11, Black Ops & GT5

That's the only 3 games i play lol...

Red Dead is one of the most overrated games ever.

Play Red Faction: Guerilla.

At least you get to break everything in the world, and Red is in the title, if that's important to you.

i second this, its just the games i was going to mention, an honorable mention for mercenaries 2 , its not an all time fav btu its good for me

Red Dead Redemption is HUGE, but gets old after a while, like GTA4. Uncharted is not considered to be a sandbox game.

I love the Mercenaries series... So much flexibility if you want to go on a rampage.

I forgot about Mercenaries 2. That's the one that made me fall in love with sandbox games. There's nothing like calling in a Daisy Cutter on a village full of brown people, just because its in your way.

Mercs 3 was in development, but Pandemic studios went under about a year ago.

actually its being released under another name "mercs inc"




i really wish it comes out soon, red faction guerrilla was very good i expect the new one to be good but sounds boring that its all underground

The whole underground thing doesn't appeal to me either. I like the idea of more space for tall buildings to knock down.
