The $120K a year estimate is based on the fact that he's been suing spammers from 2002 to present. So that figure is an AVERAGE. Income per year is probably not spread out evenly since settlement patterns differ from year to year.

Guess his business model is working, although seems like he's doing all the work himself. Not that great of a payout if he's doing all the work in litigation.

I know someone who he sued, and won against. He only goes after companies based in CA and he goes to small claims because you can't really bring a lawyer to small claims to represent you its really you vs him and him being who he is and does this for a living will run circles around someone in front of a judge.

He picks his targets that he knows he can win and collect on.

Small claims has limits (here it is around $3,500). And you can bring an attorney if you want. CA = california or Canada? i didnt read the article.

California, not canada sorry. But yes on average he makes 1500-3k per shot he takes to court, since its small claims its a quick trial and your done. Since he does all his legal work himself on collections and such he does pretty well for himself.

There was another company in maryland doing the same thing as well. VA is starting to be a hotspot for stuff like this as well.

He's suing people who break the law. Good luck to him. Laws are useless unless they§re enforced. If more people did it their would be less spam.

AFF and a few other dating companies might become targets for these type of guys. They are clearly scamming consumers.
