Photoshop help
 

I have this blue logo on a white background. I am trying to make it transparent. Is there a tool to remove background other than Lasso and magic wand.

try creating the logo on a new layer.

The logo is a jpeg file, I don't have the .psd file. i need to get rid of the white background.

Have you tried the eraser tool?

I tried background eraser tool, but it erases the logo instead of the white background.

1. open image in PS
2. image > mode > RGB color...unlock layer
3. use Magic Wand Tool, click once the blue image
4. Select > Inverse
5. hit Delete
6. Save As. gif or PSD file
