weed is getting decriminalized(sp?) in Canada.
What does it mean is that you will be still harrased by cops, but you not gonna get arrested or get a criminal record, you will get just a ticket. It is gonna be something like speeding.

Yes, decriminalized. No, it is not going to be legal.
From what I understand, anything under 30 grams is a fine, and not a charge.
Anything over 30 grams is a criminal charge.

And THAT is the bottom line.

Pot in Canada will not be made legal. Decriminalization and legalization are very different. Don't push your luck. :winkwink:
I don't think I would want to be caught with more then 30 grams. Then you are getting into trafficing....

Isn't the world moving backwards or not? In the early days , about the time of the BC/AD change over, the Romans engaged in homosexual sex. It wasn't considered homosexual but simply who was the thruster and who wasn't. It was based on power. Everyone was fine with that. Before WWI or WWII, can't remember, the people in China were smoking Opium and that was fine.

Now we get to the 21st century and everything is out-lawed. Pot is illegal (even though the dutch are fine with it), and prostitution is illegal (but in Amstedam where is is controlled). Has someone forgotten the fact that prostitution is one of the oldest professions in the world for God Sakes. If there are no prostitutes, don't you think the number of rapes would go up??

My question is...what is wrong with society today. Seems like everyday, new and screwed up laws are popping up all over the place. We are screwed!!

The cops don't harrase us now, you have do be pretty stupid to get busted for pot up here as it is. Now those stupid people will no longer be considered ciminals. It's pretty stupid that they ever were, and still will be in the USA, but hey, that's prohibition for you.
