Can't seem to bring up Cologroup.com
 

Can't seem to bring up a site that's hosted on Cologroup. Can you bring up the Cologroup site: http://www.cologroup.com? I'm trying to figure out if it's them or a router between here and there that's the problem.

They were up just a second ago, looks like they are back down.

I emailed Andrey. Still no answer. Anyone know when this will be resolved?

Cogent is having problem with their router inside the facility. The router is going on and off line every few minutes. Jason has seen this problem before, and it was a bad gbic connected to the
fiber uplink, he has asked the facility to replace the gbic which may solve the problem immediatly. If this doesn't solve the problem cogent has sent their tech to the facility, and he is on his way, to resolve the the issue if the gbic at fault.


Thats what uni told me.

i had to change my dns info from cologroup.com to cologroup.net
maybe that would help :)

I am quite supprised they lasted this long with the uptime... I guess they still only use cogent for bw though... wonder what jason bought with that 5 mil... aparently not a decent network

System's still going up and down. I've emailed Andrey twice. Apparently its a network problem. Bottom line is... "When's this going back up?"

Its back up now. Apparently its a cogent problem. Some sort of blink in the network hand off between cogent and other providers.
