Does anyone have a hookup with Mother Nature?

If so, would you ask her to please go bug someone else with this damned rain. I don't know how you people that live with this stuff on a regular basis do it.

One of the reasons I moved from Memphis to Los Angeles back in 99' was to get away from the rain. I'm OK with some rain though because the rest of the year here in LA is typically beautiful. But it's just been raining way too long now :Oh crap

Rain is good if you have lakes, farms, rivers and snow packs to worry about. None of that is found in LA. Send it north a couple hundred miles where they need it. Put it in the Colorado River. The LA River just empties into the Pacific.

The rain has ruined snowboarding next couple of days... I've officially elevated my status from mildly annoyed to pissed. This slop needs to go.

Can send you some snow if you like.

I'd sure trade this crappy below freezing weather and snow for some of your rain Baddog. Can't stand the ice and cold weather. I lived in Phoenix for couple years (worked at Sky Harbor Airport) and don't for the life of me know why I ever left there. :(

I think I must, we are having mid-70s and sunny... Nothing like wearing Flip-Flops to Christmas Shop! :pimp

Flynn 12-21-2010 04:37 PM

I'm sick of it too

I hit Mammoth for the season opener, but can't get away long enough to do the trip weekly. Big Bear is an turn-around trip for me, and I can sneak away early and still be back to handle biz. Mammoth requires planning. Next trip this season is Tahoe.

We've had naff all summer this year in Sydney so far, my mango tree had all the flowers washed off with the torrential rain, I've only been in the surf about half a dozen times.

Stupid global warming / raining...
