I believe the true reason why we exist remains on a level beyond our comprehension (like an ant trying to comprehend calculus, it just doesn't even come close.) However, if I had to give a reason, I would say that biologically we exist to reproduce and further propagate our species.

To learn and then use it in afterlife.
