How much does cookie disable affect conversions now?
I think it is alot. I am 5x traffic from last year and still same clicks more or less. If this shit was not a labor of love, i would be out.

Drop sponsors that only track by cookies.

is there any other way to track ccbill other than cookies?!?
|
http://www.yoursite.com/?affid=AFFILIATEID. Use some kind of serverside scripting (php, perl asp) to generate every page on the fly. Have it rewrite all links to include the affiliate id... and have it included the affiliate id in the signup page.

cool, thanks!

You can also redirect users without cookies enabled to a page filled with sponsors who can track them. Just watch out so that you don't screw up your SE rankings by blocking their bots. If you want to go all out you could dynamically generate the ads and show surfers without cookies a special pool of ads.
CCbill apparently has a way to track people without cookies enabled using IP addresses but it's not very good. I read a discussion which suggested this tracking doesn't work at all if the cookie length setting is over the default. I don't quite understand that one. |
I am 100% sure there are no sponsors that soley rely on cookie tracking. Most use sessions and IP tracking besides cookies.
