What Do You Want To See On An Adult Designers Portfolio?
 

We are working on Zuzana Designs V4.0 and I wanted to ask the public what they feel is the most important thing a design company can have on their portfolio in your opinion. What?s important to you when looking for a company to satisfy your design needs?

We are working on a smart automated quoting system so you can get an accurate quote from our price page using our smart system anytime conveniently. It will ask question for each quote to help us better understand your design needs so your projects can make you more money. We are also working on a referral system so you can refer clients to us and get paid on a percentage of the total design cost from the people you send to us. You can use this earned credit for your own design projects or we will pay you for the referral. You just send the people looking for design and we will take care of the rest with our team of designers and programmers/developers. Another request we get so much and we are trying to address is if we offer any template designs at a reduced cost, so we are working on adding that feature as well on v4.

So my question to you is what functions and features do you want to see on a designers portfolio. Thanks in advance for any input.

Maybe a deals section

Quick order page

A deposit system, so maybe people could set aside a certain amount for designs and pre-pay, not sure if that would work or if people would trust it.

Pre-made toons and general non-exclusive stuff like blog themes etc. you can buy, download and start using straight away.

If I think of anything else will post them here.

Color combination and textures :)

A simple quote system or price list. I want to be able to see or understand within a minute or two some kind of ballpark figure. Maybe 3 different examples of different price categories, showing this is the standard example1 for $150 and this specialty example2 costs $50 extra and whatever not for example3.

Some simple templates or stuff to pay for and download right away via paypal. Maybe with some simple color choices like here: http://www.adulttemplatesevolution.c...emes/index.php.

Maybe selected support for a few standard scripts. It would help those just starting out. and maybe even a functioning live version showing the design and the script working together.

I like your first idea but I feel people would need to save on their own. I don?t want to give refunds back when people need some cash for bills after they made a deposit and I'm holding their cash haha. I do have several clients that make deposits and I do a wire frame and schedule of the work I will complete for the deposit in phases. When they make another payment I continue with the scheduled work we have agreed on.

We are working very hard on doing pre-made toons, tube and blog templates that you can buy and use instantly through our backend.

I want my back button to work...
so maybe lose the ajax loading type crap.. or at least use a script that has back button support : )

Conversion ratios from the sponsor would be nice. Real ones ;)

Have beautiful designs that are not ugly.

Coupon codes. Raise your prices by 10%, and throw some 10% off coupon codes around. Please like to know they're getting deals. :)

When I do a design for a client I try and keep in touch with them after the project is done to see how the site is doing so I can get a feel for what is working and what?s not working. Unfortunately not all clients want to share their conversions. It may be a good idea to have some follow up options in the new system to give clients the option to publish their stats for future design purposes. I will have to brainstorm this further.
