the roof just seems to be material so probably not a big deal.

I can't really relate since I've never lived where it snowed, but I know that even a few inches of rain can really make a difference. Pretty crazy stuff, I hope you are keeping warm!

Saw it on the news last night, they're lucky it was empty. This is the type of thing we expect to see at the Big O in Montreal, every few years the roof tears and costs tens of millions to fix.

The story is in the newspapers today. 17 inches of snow on Minneapolis is a lot of snow. It's unfortunate that the roof collapsed.

I heard them mention on a video that it's the 4th time the metrodome roof has collapsed.

i believe i read/heard over the weekend that the 1st collapse was within the 1st month it was inflated.
