dumbass america.. we have way more military power than we need.. i heard something like we have a bigger military than majority of the countries, and the countries that EVEN come close to having the same military power as us are our allies..
I was watching MIL channel the other day and they were showing off new stealth bombers in design, new fighter jets, etc, im like who the fuck is this all for.. U know u have issues when you spend billions on a fucking stealth bomber while the country is in a huge recession.. Our military spending is ridiculous "Defense-related expenditures outside of the Department of Defense constitute between $319 billion and $654 billion in additional spending, bringing the total for defense spending to between $1.01 and $1.35 trillion in fiscal year 2010" Fucking USA |

I had a T Shirt when I was in high school, many moons ago, it read Do it now, it will be illegal tomorrow. They say in court that ignorance of the law is not an excuse, last year for 2010 over 40,000 new laws came into effect, do you know all of them? |

People only need to know about the laws in the specific areas where they act or do business. Take 2257 for example. People that are in the adult industry need to know about it. If you are in the adult industry, it is your burden to research and learn it, not the government's burden to educate you on it. However, there is no reason why people outside the adult industry need to know about this law. |

The point was that 40,000 new laws is ridiculous, like a ban on shortening cow tails http://www.dumblaws.com/laws/united-states/california California Sunshine is guaranteed to the masses. Animals are banned from mating publicly within 1,500 feet of a tavern, school, or place of worship. Bathhouses are against the law. It is a misdemeanor to shoot at any kind of game from a moving vehicle, unless the target is a whale. Women may not drive in a house coat. No vehicle without a driver may exceed 60 miles per hour. And thats just one state, so you can jump up and down all you want, our government is a grand failure, both right and left |

LOL, funny thing is that sounds like something they would do.

that paragraph is scary when you read it closely.
Officials at the Pentagon announced Monday that they would no longer make the budget of the Defense Department public, explaining that the information would be "extremely disrespectful" to American families at a time of economic turmoil. "Disclosing the cost of even one Patriot missile could seriously damage the morale of a nation just trying to keep food on the table," Defense Secretary Robert Gates said of the new policy. "It would be a slap in the face to all the hardworking citizens who continue to struggle and sacrifice day after day." Gates added that revealing the expense of maintaining America's military presence in more than 150 nations worldwide might also break the spirits of returning veterans unable to obtain adequate health care. |

I said that people do not need to know every single new law because most people are never affected by every single new law. For example, people that do not ride bikes do not need to know biking laws, people that do not drive cars do not need to know vehicular driving laws, people that are not involved in the adult industry do not need to know about 2257 laws etc. etc. etc. Thus, your rhetorical question about people not knowing all 40,000 laws passed in 2010 is irrelevant. No one is hurt or disadvantaged by not knowing all 40,000 laws because no one is involved in every single area that those 40,000 laws cover. |

Therefore creating jobs and putting money back into the people's pockets. Unless they're buying the stuff from Achmed, which I suppose is possible |

Most of those laws are very old laws that were never removed from the books. You know, decades old laws ... back when they were making 40,000 laws a year like you're bitching about now. Nothing has changed. A politicians job is to write and pass laws. They're just doing the jobs they were hired to do. |
i watched the move "the foreigner" last night, so many truths to that movie it is actually scary shit.
monetary control over a country is the ultimate power physical power is just one more product to sell |
