GFY Doctors: A serious question...
 

Wgat organ would be just under my left ribcage? Just under my ribs, on my left hand side. I noticed this soft, pliable lump for the first time yesterday. Its about 1" top to bottom, about 2 1/2 inches side to side. Its getting bigger now.

There's no pain when I touch it, but it wasn't there yesterday - and I'm too tired to find a clinic. I guess tomorrow is all booked up.

I've been searching Goggle for organ's just under my ribs, but nothing looks right in the pictures I've seen. They all deal with pain. I have no pain, but this lump is very disconcerting - in texure and appearance.

Maybe I herniated something, but that should hurt, no? Nothing I can find online matches what I feel. Damn, I'll have to see a doctor tomorrow.

Probably not, your lymph nodes are located higher up. My brother had hogkinson's disease (cancer) but he had a lump higher up, by his clavicle.

Your pancreas is around there, but that wouldn't cause a lump. Could just be a fatty cyst.

Go and get it checked out as soon as possible, could be more serious.
