Usually when they can't CATCH a person for the charges they want to catch him, they always try to look other reasons to detain him... Like in this case.

He has very good lawyers, probably the best from Western Europe, so...

If you know anyone who works in the government judicial branch, they will tell you that the governments typically waits and waits and waits. By the time they grab you, they pretty much have you stone cold.

True. When you have Manwin dollars and private jets, you can afford good counsel.

Very true,

And at this point, tax law is so complex that almost everyone is breaking some part of it somewhere. It is then enforced on an as needed basis. Quite convenient for governments.

Guilty or not, dealing with the German IRS / prosecutors has got to be a barrel of laughs.

If anyone (current employees, ex-employees, industry insiders, etc) has information which might be of use to the authorities I think this page has contact information which will eventually get that info to the right place: http://www.finanzamt.bayern.de/muenc...efon-Hotlines/ If Germany is like most countries then you may be eligible for a cash reward.

Curious how this will develop.

Probably he can afford the best legal aid but I don't think the govs put him on an international list if they can't make a solid case.

Suppose he is guilty and will be convicted, what would be the next step?

Confiscation/seizure of assets, companies or just a big fine + jail time? I don't know how it goes in Germany.
