Paxum - An ongoing nightmare

Guys, first thing you need to know is that when you talk bad about Paxum - they will remember you that. All started around six months ago when i opened this thread. So basically after my card data was stolen and i posted to GFY the stolen card policy of Paxum (pay 40$ for each charge back, even if you will MAYBE get 1$ back) i'm trying to get a new Paxum card.

So quick update about the dispute and chargebacks... after i paid $80 for two chargebacks (40$ for each, sent on 21/07/17) i was waiting for the new card and my chragebacks result.
on the 22/09/17 i got message from Paxum with the following content:

Quote:

"The funds from your chargeback should be available on your card on 10/25/17. Please notify us if you do not receive the funds on that date so we can investigate.

Best Regards!"
Well, at least i will get some of my stolen money back right? NOT!
I wanted to be sure so i wrote them "Ok great so I?m waiting for the card. The money that was left on my stolen card + refunds + chargebacks will be available on the new card right?" and on the 22/11/2017 got the following answer:

Quote:

"The chargeback funds will be deposited on your expired card and these funds, along with the others available on the same card, can be transferred to your new card once you receive and activate it.

Best Regards."
The ticket closed and was re-opened by Paxum on the 06/12/2017 with the following answer:
Quote:

"Please find the answer from the bank below:

"Thank you for contacting Dispute Resolution Team. This secure code transaction and we cannot process chargeback with the fraud reason. However we have reported the transaction to MasterCard SAFE and also initiate copy request."

Therefore, the cardholder lost this case."

For more information you can contact the bank, the number is on the back of the card. Since the dispute was lost this ticket will be closed.

Thank you for understanding.
Best Regards!"
To be honest i didn't even saw that i "lost" the charge back until i started writing this email and i'm so mad that i don't know what to do... i mean, what would you do? why i need to talk with the bank if they told me i will have my money back, and then i will not without any explanation?? lets go back for the card shipment for a moment...

on 17/07/17 i asked them for new card, only on 11/09/17 they sent me one by regular mail - it's never arrived and they told me they think it's lost i get all my mail all the time but ok).

on the 12/11/17 i paid them 95$ for Express one week shipping...
on the 07/12/17 they asked me new proof of address, as 4 months past since my request. i sent it to them and new card request was made on the 8/12/17.
Today, 04/01/18 i got new message from them:

Quote:

The bank rejected the card request dues to what they say is a spelling error in your address.

We've checked the documents on file and we were unable to see any problems, therefore, we've re-submitted your card request.

The request will be placed in a priority batch that will be sent to the bank in a few days time.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best regards.
My question is what would you do guys? i'm trying to speak with Ruth but no answer from her... last answer was on Dec 13 "I'll look into it and get back to you as soon as I receive a response.". I'm really lost and have no idea what to do. Can i at least get somehow the money that was left on my stolen card? as they saying i can get it only when i will have new Paxum card. I'm kind of prisoner of Paxum but they also like to abuse me :Oh crap

brassmonkey 01-04-2018 04:09 AM

Well nether do I until this case... first I was sure that I covered and after paying the chargeback fee I would get some of the money back, but it?s seems they know there Is no option to win the chargeback and yet advised me to make one. Now they sending me to the bank to get answers. The way they deal with this situation in the last 7 months is not normal, after the post they just don?t want me to get a new card - time after time, fee after fee.

Contact the bank directly and file the CB again.

If it's been more than 6 months, then you're too late. Paxum probably stalled for this.

TheDynasty 01-04-2018 03:32 PM

fuck that sucks hope you get this resolved

I think there is no way to resolve it. They just saying now that the card is property of the bank and if I need something I need to talk with them.

This secure code transaction and we cannot process chargeback with the fraud reason.

Don't do business with companies that can't put a proper English sentence together.

rowan 01-06-2018 11:46 AM

Paxum are probably doing the best they can but as a middle-man they really have no control, since their entire business model relies on arrangements with a bunch of third parties, in a world with increasingly restrictive financial services regulations.

Whilst they're busy sucking one company's dick, another has Paxum's balls in a vice... and the govt regulator of country XYZ is lubing up a finger.

The fact that there's very little competition in the "Adult Paypal" space suggests it's not easy to do.

Thank you OP for relating your experience.

Still no answer from Bank or Ruth... No money, no card......

Fun fact: if you want to open e-wallet system in EU you need to pay 2.5 milions to regulator.

It sucks, hopefully Ruth will chime in here and assist.

Hi there, I left you a message on Skype. I'm looking into the chargeback situation. I've asked for clarity on the status of your chargeback disputes.

Thanks, waiting for news. and by the way the card status is still ?submitted?...

Zakash 02-19-2018 01:27 PM

Ok so here is quick update for you guys.

1) Ruth just told me there is nothing to do with the refund and if i want more info i shold ask the bank. I asked them but no reply for more then a month. I asked them few times.

2) You probably think i already got my replacement Paxum card (more then 6 months past)? So guess again.

After i waited long time on the 4 Jan Paxum sent me the following email:

Quote:

The bank rejected the card request dues to what they say is a spelling error in your address.

We've checked the documents on file and we were unable to see any problems, therefore, we've re-submitted your card request.

The request will be placed in a priority batch that will be sent to the bank in a few days time.

Best regards.
On the Jan 15 i asked them what's going on and the answer was:
Quote:

We're waiting for the cards to reach our shipping department. We assure you that they will be sent in under 24 hours from the moment we have them, which should happen in a few days time. As soon as this happens we will also update the status from your account.
And today after another 45 days waiting and after the card went "printing" again i got the following message:

Quote:

The bank notified us that they cannot process your card request with the proof of address you have submitted. Please submit one of the following documents,. making sure that it contains your full name, address and is issued in the last 5 months:

- bank statement;
- card statement;
- utility bill (cable bill; phone bill; Internet bill; electricity bill; running water bill; gas bill);
- ID document with address;
- Public Authority issued document.

Best Regards!
The real problem is the money that were left on my stolen card. They say i can't get it until i will have new Paxum card (that i don't really need anymore), but they clearly don't want me as a client as we had 6-7 attempts for card (Express, Normal Mail etc) so i can't get the money. What can i do??? :mad:

brassmonkey 02-19-2018 04:00 PM

its your fucking fault! :2 cents::2 cents: never leave money in that shit! if i were you i would contact the bank and send them the docs directly. explain all of this to the bank.

adultchatpay 02-19-2018 04:55 PM

that is unfortunate, so maybe next time withdraw as quickly as you can.

Sometimes even that's difficult. That's all I did with Paxum - inbound payment from one sponsor once per 14 days, initiate EFT withdraw immediately - and I still had multiple problems.

shake 02-19-2018 07:16 PM

There's a big difference in regular banks as well when you need to charge back purchases.

One bank i've used i just called in and reported all the fraudulent charges, they refunded sent me a new card/number and that was that. Others you can only fax or mail and other bs.

Paxum sounds like a nightmare and i'll never use their credit card.

Zakash 02-21-2018 02:30 AM

Thing is i don't want to be Paxum customer anymore, i just want to withdraw the money left on my stolen card. 6 months of trying get new card and they just find reason why they can't send me that card. I asked them another option to withdraw the money and here is what they telling me:

"The mentioned funds can only be transferred for free to your new card, once you receive and activate it."

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

bgmen 03-01-2018 03:50 AM

Again problems with their card - Funds were not transferred. I can see they actually were transferred but they are now in "Pending charges"...
