Zombaio WTF don't pay at all

Looks like i got screwed for all the money that zombaio owns me..:321GFY
This is the latest message i got form them:

The not yet paid out payments has been transferred to the unsettled transactions post in the Reserve report, it's available under Reports -> Reserve. These payouts doesn't have a set date yet but will be sent out as quickly as possible. Accounts with new sales that would be classed as active accounts has priority on getting these released.

All new payouts created within the new system will be sent out on time and will reach your account on schedule. These changes has been made to ensure that all new payouts reach our clients on time.

I can see that you're no longer processing new sales on the account which makes the account inactive at the moment, if you could process some new transactions on the account it will be set as an active account and get prioritized. If you processes some new sales on the account and continue processing some transactions on the account going forward I will make sure that you get at least one of these payouts released immediately.

Did anyone got the same answer like i did regarding the payments?

fitzmulti 11-23-2014 07:49 AM

No, I don't use them - thankfully - but, that seems about as fucked up as it can be...

PAR 11-23-2014 09:51 AM

In all the payment related treads etc. when have they replied?
When was the last time anyone from the company posted anything at all here?

It's a really simple question, if new money is being used to pay for old amounts owed.
What was the money that should have be paidout get used for.

This all is a bunch of questionable actions extortion being just one of them.

Oracle Porn 11-23-2014 12:55 PM

I have no dog in this fight but if I were you I would send some sales to get one payment now, think of it as investing $xxx to get $xxxx....after you get first payment stop sending sales then get another deal of a payment for some sales. rinse and repeat until you think you can cut your losses.

mdwofficial 11-23-2014 01:05 PM

All I can say is they did recently pay me out my biggest owed payout. Still very unhappy with the situation and pretty appalled they have so much cash of mine and have temporarily killed my site since I'm uncomfortable putting up new content that I won't be paid for.

NaughtyVisions 11-23-2014 03:05 PM

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I'm pretty sure Zombaio actually stating that they were paying out past dues on active accounts before inactive accounts happened months ago.

I don't do anything with Zombaio, and I knew it. Why is this news now?

You are suggesting that we lose another dog here. Sending sales to Zombaio is like digging your own hole

Eschaton 11-24-2014 04:52 PM

It's more advantageous for them to prioritize accounts that are sending new revenues to them as opposed to old debts.

The one thing they did say was that if you send new sales, the payments will be released immediately? I don't know how they define "immediately" but that would presumably mean soon.

I logged in today and found that 33% or so of what they owe us is "missing" from our "unsettled transactions" in our reserve. Aka the money they've owed us since the switch.

That should be in line with their message of saying that payments to me are prioritized and our account active. So if the funds show up in our bank account, I'll be a happy camper and let the remainder of our rebills and new sales (from several smaller sites) stick with them...

Let's all just cross our fingers and hope Zombaio can get through this mess. I don't wish ill-will on Zombaio. I want my money. So there's no point in hoping they fail. I hope they get through this.

That's all I have to say.

Your optimism is noble, but I'm afraid it won't work like that. Several reasons:

1) The reason they are doing that is so they can pay existing debts. Send $100 in sales, we can pay you $100 in past sales. That is the idea. So it is not send $100, receive $1000... 1 for 1 type deal is where they are "likely" at.

2) They have no reserves period.

3) As painfully obvious as this is, some people will just blindly do what they are told. HOWEVER, the masses will not in this case (too long, too late kinda thing). So zombaio will not get enough suckers to send new sales and therefore will die, rather suddenly, very soon...

/the end

the thing is though, both of those events are unlikely to occur together. when companies fold peeps are left holding the bag, and in the case of Zombaio those peeps would be the webmasters who are owed funds they rightfully earned. I know you've had a really unpleasant history with Zombaio but truth is, if you want the company to fold you're basically hoping that a whole bunch of peeps get ripped off.

that's a pretty risky proposition at this point imho

Zomabio has let several deadlines for getting back on track come and go with nothing but apologies and further promises.

As I wrote above I want Z to get through this, and if at some point they stabilize, pay everyone what is owed and maintain a strong record of doing so for a significant time period I'd consider adding them back in to my cascade. That said, the only reason I'm not owed as much as the rest of the peeps here is that the gfy 'warning system' worked for me and I found other options back when I was still getting paid. As a result I'm only owed hundreds instead of thousands.

My rationale was this: I don't want to be part of a select group that are paid in a timely manner, I want to work with companies that honor their commitments to ALL their merchants and make serious efforts to engage in ongoing communication when those commitments falter.

Every unpaid merchant should be as much of a priority as those who are continuing to send new business. To send new customers in the midst of this mess (it appears nothing much has changed except for a new admin and perhaps a change of ownership) could very well be a case of throwing good $$$$ after bad. That goes double for merchants who offer rebilling to their clients. Sure, everything could turn out ok, but there doesn't appear to be much cause for faith right now, kwim?

I'm with Eschaton in hoping that Zombaio survives this, but I question the logic of peeps sending them more $$$$ they wouldn't otherwise in the hopes of receiving what they're owed. At some point Z will either get their ish together and get caught up, or they will fold and a whole lotta people will be out some serious cash. I do hope it's the former, but since I can't run my business on a 'fingers crossed' wish for the best I'll stay on the sidelines for now and watch how things play out.

wising everyone the best of luck in getting paid.

No what I had hoped is that people would have listened over a year ago to the warnings offered by so many others. Whether Zombaio falters will not be because of a wish of mine, it will because of unethical and shady business practices, period. If people lose money that will be an unfortunate lesson, but it isn't as if they weren't warned.

Sorry but Zombaio is in the rear on payments, simply because they spent the money it has absolutely nothing to do with late payouts from their aquirers...lol
In my book that's called theft, fuck their intent, well actually their intent was shown with the theft.

I didn't mean to imply that your posts somehow will determine the fate of Zombaio, or that you wish ill upon fellow webmasters. Apologies if that was how you interpreted my post, all I meant to do was convey that the fall of Z will have some serious financial repercussions for many peeps here on gfy- and elsewhere. Business failure and funds owed being paid rarely go hand in hand- that's all I meant to convey.

Just as you have had a negative experience with Z, mine overall has been overwhelming positive. Yes I'm owed $$$ but it's less that I would have spent on Visa/MC fees elsewhere last year-let alone the additional 5% processing fee charged by similar IPSPs.

I'm an adult performer who left my last cam site 2 years ago after suing them (successfully and including lawyers fees in the settlement) for unpaid funds and set out on my own, and quite honestly at the time I didn't know a merchant account was a real option. Beyond having no personal processing history I was overwhelmed, temporarily alienating my guys cuz I was such a mess after having two years of investment drop out from under me-let alone the bureaucracy of the lawsuit. Not only did my income temporarily drop significantly, I didn't want to work as hard as I knew I needed to get back on my feet for 15% plus cc fees. In that way I'll always be grateful to Z, and don't regret for a moment signing up with them. That decision saved me thousands over the course of those two years.

I will also share that Zombaio merchant support has, and sadly continues to be, far more satisfactory that the current merchant gateway company I unfortunately chose in my rush to find an alternative to Z.

So yeah, I'm not at all happy with Zombaio currently but as far as the burning torches I can't jump on board on any level. I stand by my prior assertion in other threads that the adult field will be poorer with their absence if they do fold.

tl;dr Z will stagger on to success or fall. I hope the former occurs and Z strengthens and endures. I see a value in this company, having experienced it first hand. I hope they get their ish together. And again apologies showme if you misconstrued my post as inferring you wish ill will to your peers. not my intent at all, all I meant to do was focus on the practicalities of what a Zombaio failure would entail.

that said I'm wishing all zombaio'ers a rather spiritless good luck right now. time will tell I guess :/
